”Captain Ron met us to check in. Very nice and helpful. The boat is docked in a private, peaceful area. You can hear some distant traffic noise and occasional faint train, but otherwise very quiet. The boat is older, with ongoing repairs and painting, but was clean and cozy. Has a large, full shower with hot water and a toilet that is similar to RV toilets. ”The host was super responsive, polite, and gracious. It was a quiet neighborhood. This is the basement of an occupied home, so you can hear some, but no issues with excessive noise. Area was clean and welcoming. I shared this with the host, but there was no fridge. Latoya gave me access to hear wine chilling unit almost immediately to meet my needs- so appreciated. ”Fantastic cabin very close to town and boat ramps.Not 1 complaint ! The place is amazing with a pond and a large property. Interior has amazing woodwork. Very quiet, private, and secure.Gated entrance. We had 4 trucks with boats attached and fit in the driveway. Well lit areas for entertaining or in our case rigging rods and reels for fishing. This is a special place if you are coming to fish the James River. Just an all around perfect place. We will be back again next year !!”

”Everything was accurate with the listing. The only thing that was an issue was parking for three cars forced us into the neighbors area on the street since the drive way was inconvenient and off a main road. The yard gate was loose and off centered which was solved by us wrapping rope to prevent our dogs from leaving but may be an issue for less prepared individuals.”

”This is a great, well appointed property in an easy to access location. The home was clean and neat, though we’d recommend fewer air fresheners as those aggravated some allergies. ”The hostess was very accommodating!! This is a very cute home and very clean!! There was 4 adults and 3 kiddos in our group we were all very comfortable. Beds were very comfortable and plenty of hot water! It was very nice to be able to wash and dry our clothes so we didn’t have to do that as soon as we got home. It was very cozy and felt like our home away from home!!! We definitely recommend this property and will definitely stay again when we come back to VA!!!”
