The property has a lovely quirky French atmosphere and is well equipped. We canoed on the Dordogne and enjoyed re-discovering an area we visited several times many years ago. Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached. ”We chose Château de Moncieux as the venue for a big family holiday - for our children and grandchildren. We were not disappointed. We were fortunate to have good weather and the pool was the focus of all our activities. There was plenty of space in the house for everyone to lose themselves when they wanted to and the lounges were huge and comfortable as wee the bedrooms.
