”Breakfast was simple, but yummy. Perfect place to stay if you are visiting child/going to graduation, etc. at Syracuse University.”

”The staff were very helpful. My only criticism would be the tiles in the bathroom floors. They need an upgrade in the grouting. The floors must have been recently washed as they were a bit slippery. Some new decorating would also help. Thankyou…”

”They had to change our room during late night after we had complaint on AC, but new room didn’t had enough amenities of microwave, stove and big refrigerator. We had to run to lobby to use microwave even for warming up milk. Staff had to consider this and please take care of maintenance. Apart from this bad experience, everything was good.”

”Staff was great and helpful. The actual room was terrible and dirty. I don't think it was really the staff's fault. Management needs to get their act together and they need to hire better housekeeping, or hire housekeeping period. There were giant roaches (?) in my room. I wasn't expecting much for a Studio 6—I am no stranger to a motel—but this is abysmal. Don't book here.”

”I liked out stay at HomeTown Inn by Red Roof East Syracuse. I was there with my Ukranian friend who was surprised there were also hotels in America with same quality as in hes country. I really liked the reception because there was Egyptian workers who gave the hotel international feeling since it is near the airport. ”I complained about bed bugs on my second morning there under two separate bookings and planned on coming back the next night but when I went to the desk at about 2 AM there were no rooms to move into so I had to pay for another hotel for the night. When I went back the next night after booking my room here because the front desk told me they did not have any rooms for the Saturday night at about 11:16 PM the front desk clerk proceeds to tell me that he found my reservation but that he can not...

”Definitely not expecting what was provided for the price point. The hotel is in renovations but the rooms should not be rented. We had portable air con and beds which we booked not available. The breakfast was not enjoyable as felt uneasy about the entire experience.”

”We booked a room for graduation weekend. We left with no where to go within 30 minutes. This place was the dirty, smelly and poorly maintained. The room stunk like a hot boxed ash tray. You can tell one dirty rag was used to wipe all the surfaces. Almost everything was broken including the lock on the door. I just cant get past the smell....it stuck to us until we showered. Mind you we didnt even sit on one surface. There was a very sketchy crowd wandering around the building. The parking lot...

”Nice park-side location. About a 15 minute walk to downtown and restaurants. They have their own parking, so that is convenient. The "king size" beds seemed rather small to us.”
