”Very clean and new hotel building. Rooms are tight but clean and have fridge and microwave oven. Since located in downtown Oakland it can get quite busy in surroundings, though 11th street is somewhat calm area. My room windows were on the street side and it was pretty noisy during nights. If you wear ear plugs it is no big deal. I stayed 10 nights and my room wasn't cleaned for once. Breakfast is okay. Nothing fancy but you get what you need to start your day. I probably wouldn't stay here...

”This is a wonderfully refurbished motel in a part of Oakland that's a little bit rough around the edges but is safe and close to Piedmont Avenue (which is great). The owners have redone the hotel in cheerful colors and spotless rooms. Drew, the manager, is great as is the entire staff. I will definitely go back if I need a place in Oakland in the future.”
