House has an artist's cottage feel, with lots of good books on the bookshelves to read, that I sadly did not have time for since I was busy keeping my children occupied. The location is very private and rural, but there are other houses nearby so it doesn't feel too creepy at night (like other places out in the woods I have stayed). It is very dark at night and we brought our telescope with us. One tradeoff that comes with the extra private...
