”Old historic facility, beautiful courtyard, but facility itself needs uprating painting. A little remodeling would help elevator wasn’t working made it very difficult for us to take luggage up three flights to stairs to the third floor. Staff was very friendly.”

”The bad mark comes from the fact that this is the very first best Western. I’ve stayed in and I stay in them a lot that has $100 incidental charge to your card that can be held 35 days. That is utter crap. If you wanna buy something you use your card and you buy it. I guess they probably do it for people who take things from the room. I don’t know. Never had it happen before and I don’t like it. My husband uses his debit card and you should never have money amts withheld on them! When I booked...

”Toilet had some trouble flushing but eventually did. Phone line one didn't seem to work, couldn't answer incoming calls and had to use line 2 to call out.”

”Staff were excellent. The AC was broken in the lobby area for 2 days making the bar/ food experience horrible. The lobby area and outside are beautiful. When you get to the rooms, not so much. Old rooms, need updating, air doesn’t cool in the rooms that great. Rust on most of the appliances/fixtures/faucets. Room service came as they should. Not a bad place to stay but don’t be fooled by the pictures online.”

The toilet wouldn’t flush Told management and the lady at the desk asked me “WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE ME TO DO” I can’t stay in a room that the toilet don’t flush. We don’t have anything. The elevator reeked of urine with dirty carpet. We asked for extra towels and wash clothes. They didn’t have any extra to give because they were not clean.”
