”Excellent stay. Warm and welcoming and beautiful large room with comfortable bed. Large attractive gardens, nice touches like the extra padded seats for our outside seats and fresh fruit from the farm at breakfast. The owner was very helpful with ideas for local visits and was very warm and welcoming. Thank you. ”

”Truly amazing! Beautiful room, views and pool area. The food in the restaurant was splendid. The only thing that was a bit strange was that breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before, and coffee/tea was not included. And they have no lunch. I guess my feedback is that they should have more food options available. Another note to future visitors - the mountain road up to the hotel was a bit difficult if you have a smaller car. But other than that it was perfect.”

”Stayed for one night with my boyfriend as a stopover between Sutherland and Cape Town, and honestly wish we’d booked two. Despite booking very last minute, Evelyn made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived with a glass of champagne.
The property is beautifully curated; every piece of furniture and decor feels intentional, giving the whole place a boutique, high-end atmosphere. We had our own parking space right outside our suite, which was a nice touch. The suite itself genuinely exceeded...
