Koska t��män kodin varattu vieras on oltava vähintään 25-vuotias, asu majoituspaikassa koko ajan ja pidetään tämän varauksen vastuussa olevana osapuolena. Valitettavasti tämä talo ei ole lemmikkieläinystävällinen, ei poikkeuksia.

Tule tutustumaan Redwoodsiin, liota kylpytynnyrissä, rentoudu katetun kuistin ympärillä, katselkaa kaukaiselle merelle, joka on viihtyisä palo-kuoppaan vieressä, ruokki kultakala takapihalla ja kuuntele vesiputouksia. Tämä 2500 neliöjalkainen koti on sielun sisätilojen ja sisätilojen paratiisi. Täydellinen pakopaikka luonnon ystäville, pariskunnille ja vanhemmille lapsille! Garden Pond Oasis istuu aivan metsäisen rannikkoradan yläpuolella, jossa on silta ja puro. Tämä polku tarjoaa lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä Mad-joelta, josta on näkymät merelle. Holvikatto ja runsaasti ikkunoita kutsuvat puutarhan ja merenäkymät. Päätasolla vieraat nauttivat hohtavasta parkettilattiasta, hyvin varustetusta olohuoneesta, jossa on suuri ruokailuhuone, jossa on istuimet 6 hengelle ja upea avoin ja yhdistetty keittiö-perhehuone, joka on kodikas kaasutakka. Nauti leikkipeleistä yli 20 hauskan lautapelin avulla! Kokit rakastavat aterioita tilavassa, täysin varustetussa keittiössä, jossa on suuri saari ja aamiaisbaari. Perhehuoneessa on jopa työpöytä vieraille, joka tarvitsee töitä matkoilla. Tällä tasolla on puolet kylpyamme. Yläkerrassa on 3 tilavaa makuuhuonetta. Makuuhuoneessa on kaukainen merinäköala, ja siinä on king-vuode ja kylpyhuone, jossa on suuri soikea kylpyamme ja erillinen suihku. Toisessa makuuhuoneessa on näkymät uskomattomiin puutarhoihin, lampeen ja metsäisiin näkymiin. Siinä on myös king-vuode ja hupullinen, rentouttava riippumatto-tuoli. Kolmas makuuhuoneessa on parivuode, työpöytä asiakkaille, jotka tarvitsevat vähän työtä ja pieni t. v. vain DVD-levyille. Tässä makuuhuoneessa on myös upea puutarha ja näkymät metsään. 2. yläkerran kylpyhuoneessa on amme / suihku. Kaikki yläkerran makuuhuoneet ovat kokolattiamattoisia ja lisäävät tämän talon mukavuutta ja lämpöä. Tämä koti on täynnä luokkaa ja tyyliä. Jokainen huone on sisustettu eräänlaiseen taideteokseen. Keskeisellä paikalla Mckinleyvillessä sijaitseva Garden Pond Retreat on vain 10 minuutin päässä vilkkaalta Arcata-kaupungin kaupungilta ja 10 minuutin päässä Trinidadin merenrantakylästä ja alle 2 kilometrin päässä paikallisesta lentokentästä. Vain muutaman askeleen päässä Kalifornian rannikon Hammond-polun 5-plus mailin vaellus / pyöräily / ratsastus-osiosta, joka ulottuu Arcata Bottomsilta pohjoiseen Clam Beach County Parkiin McKinleyvillessä. Reitti on äänestetty "parhaaksi paikaksi kävellä, lenkillä tai pyörällä" Humboldtissa. Jos haluat pyöräillä Humboldtissa, tämä on paikka!

We had a wonderful stay at Garden Pond Retreat! The home is comfortable and well appointed and the yard is amazing. We had a small issue with the property and the property management team was quick to answer our call (late on a Saturday night even!), help us, and remedy the issue the following day. We stay in the area about once per year and will definitely keep this on the list of places we would go back to!

Flower lover's dream

Stayed here with friends as a base camp to explore the various redwood parks. It was a good choice, the property is great, perfect location, great views. The master bedroom is amazing. The real draw here is the gardens, which are, I'd wager, world class in the VRBO land. Clearly an incredible effort put in here. All the flowers were in bloom and the massive koy pond is such an amazing feature. Rental was nice, hot tub is great (and barely mentioned in the pictures!), but be aware, it is very consistently cold here due to the marine layer (a thing you will hear much of if you haven't yet). In the heart of July we never saw above 62 degrees. Coming from 97 degrees in North Carolina this was a shock. This is clearly an owner lived in house and an owner driven rental, which as renters we all love (versus third party rental agencies), the care in the gardens in particular shows this commitment. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great home base for the Redwoods

This was a beautiful property in a great location. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. We had great communication throughout the process. The grounds were so pretty and it was just a relaxing home to be in. There was a great walking path nearby with wonderful views of the ocean. I would highly recommend this location.

We had the most marvelous time at this house! The house was beautiful, and very clean and tidy. The amenities were plentiful and incredible to use! AMAZING!

My husband plans to give a more thorough review later, but in 20 years of using VRBO-and we use it 1-3/year-this is the absolute best! Super clean, comfortable, the most amazing landscaping, great hot tub, and they had EVERYTHING you will need! We could stay here for months! The only thing missing was our other daughter who couldn’t be with us.

Beautiful house with ocean views

This was the perfect place for a multigenerational vacation. The garden was magical, our 5 year old loved feeding the fish in the pond, squeezing the snapdragon flowers and roasting marshmallows over the fire pit. The adults enjoyed the hot tub and the gourmet kitchen. This is not a place you need to bring cooking gear, the knives are sharp. If you do some wine tasting while you're in town there is also a wine fridge. We'd definitely stay again in the future.

Very quiet, cozy and extremely comfortable beds.

This vacation property is close to everything along the coast and quick shopping trips too. The trails along Mad River are beautiful, safe and allows for every level of walking interests If you have a larger family as we do and need max amount of privacy as well, this home will suite these needs perfectly. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, sharing quiet conversations around the little fire pit and porches. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Redwoods vacation

I would have given this property a solid 5 stars, however, we encountered some issues that prevent that. Everything else was great: location, roominess, prettiest house in the neighborhood, comfort, etc. So why am I rating it 4 stars? Contract trash personnel apparently open the roll-up garage door to get the trash cans. We found the garage door open each time (3) we came home after being gone all day. Since we were told to leave the door open between the garage and the house, that means anyone off the street could have gone into the house while we were gone, and there are homeless people around the city and the walking trails not too far away. We called the management company to tell them about the garage door issue, but nothing changed. This did not make us feel very secure about staying there. The other thing is that the freezer part of the refrigerator was going out and would not make ice or keep our frozen food frozen. We ended up throwing some of our food out because of this. We told the management company about this too but there was nothing they could do about it while we were staying there. So, two disappointments in an otherwise very pleasant experience.

Lovely and comfortable!

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was luxurious with king beds for everyone, a fully stocked kitchen and beautiful back yard. The only concern was that the outside irrigation (for the backyard garden) sounded like it was leaking one night...hopefully it was able to be fixed! Thank you.

Relaxing home away from home!

This home was the perfect stay for our vacation to the Redwood national and state parks. The listing was on-pointe and the location was just right. Backyard was serene and we even saw some elk and herons. The house was stocked with everything one would need for a week (except for oil, salt, and sugar - which you could get at the grocery stores nearby along with your groceries) and the appliances were high end, which we greatly appreciated. The family photos and different art work all around the house were a nice homey touch and gave a lovely lived-in and loved feel to the home. Neighborhood was quiet and safe. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and will certainly stay here again should we ever be back to this part of the country.

Wonderful Home

House and property were as advertised and quite beautiful. We enjoyed the heron and ducks that landed in the pond. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and cookware. The bedrooms very nice with great views. If the opportunity occurs, I would stay here in the future.

We stayed in this lovely property with an exquisite garden and fish pond. We were all over 70 and enjoyed walking the trail through the wooded area and adjacent to the beach. The property has everything you can possibly need if you are a cook or bbq er. The bedrooms are very comfortable with good quality bedding and towels. We had no children with us but noticed many touches for them such as a coloring table and a step stool in the powder room so they could access the sink. We would definitely book this property again. The instructions were perfect and I was even able to bring Alexa with us to time our cooking and provide music. No trouble with the internet either. My phone, an iphone worked immediately. Thanks for a great sister reunion!!
