”Great location, beautiful architecture but there was no dining options, the desk staff wear many hats so often there was a “be right back” sign out and some of them did not appear to enjoy working their shift.
Strong chlorine smell in the lobby, no dining options, the shower curtain fell down when I hung a wet towel on it (I’m old so I knew how to fix it), housekeeping every third day but if you appreciate character hotels those issues are worth the experience.”

”Booked 2 rooms in one transaction. Upon check in they said they only had one room, initially. Got it sorted and got the 2 rooms. Not beside each other, but on same floor. Also, the next morning, is it customary for housekeeping to knock on your door at 8:14am? Never experienced that before at any hotel.
We stayed there 3 months ago for multiple nights, that was a much better stay. ”
