”Well the beds were made. That’s about it really, rooms had cobwebs in the windows, floor wasn’t swept well and it looked like it had recent construction done and it was never finished. Guy up front was not good at customer service. He was fast though which I gotta say is better than a friendly conversation. All and all it was just a poor choice.”

”The hottub was really the sweet spot, cabin was nice overall, the a/c and airflow sucked, had difficulty sleeping due to lack of airflow and it being hot, big bear is a little packed and overrated, not much to do. Good if you want a weekend getaway, not much else.”

”We enjoyed our stay and didn’t have any problems while we were there. This a self-checkin place, so we didn’t meet any staff but everything was well explained and provided in advance that we didn’t need to contact them. The location is also a few minutes from the village, which is very convenient. The one thing that we were not prepared for was the coyote screams in the middle of night, but now that we know how they sound like we won’t be scared next time.”

”The owner and help were really friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and there were several unexpected amenities. Like I loved the lavender mister.
The breakfast was very nice and is served out in the patio overlooking the area that's used for weddings.
The only ding I would give them is when we couldn't make breakfast our first morning there was meager options. All were full of sugar. I'd like to see some healthier options”

”As with much of Big Bear, the buildings are older, but they are well maintained and rooms/condos are updated. It’s clean. Our lake view rooms had a lake view. My only drawback is that parking is tight, barely enough spaces and we were here during the week. Otherwise - great, and if we return to the area, we would stay here again.”

The wifi doesn't work. I contacted staff and they texted back "I will check now". The next day I asked back and no response.
The original text asked us to take trash out to the dumpster next to the house, but there isn't a dumpster.
The hot tub and pool are both empty and dry.
There are lots of ants and spiders in the rooms.”
