We experienced significant problems with the cleanliness of the property on arrival, with dust on side units and in cabinets, long and short (pet) black hairs on floors, long black hairs on beds and also in showers and baths.Clumps of hair had been pushed under chairs, and dishes had food stuck to them.Complaints were made to the property manager, and the cleaner was sent round again. This clean did not rectify the issues and we ended up having to clean for ourselves late on a Friday night.The property was poorly maintained, with broken Venetian blinds in one of the bedrooms, a bin in the kitchen without a lid which attracted insects to the waste and various handles missing off drawers / cupboards.Power points are at a premium with strangely lights being positioned in areas without power points next to them making them unusable.The accommodation was adequate, if a little cramped in the main lounge / kitchen area, as this area was full of furniture. The outdoor area is large with plenty of areas to sit and relax. The location is good with the beach only around 7/8 minutes away.The major issue we had with the stay was the attitude of the property manager, who would not take responsibility for the poor level of cleanliness or provide a refund of the cleaning fee when requested. The method of communication via a portal was impersonal with no names provided. It appeared that the service was outsourced as replies were often provided in the middle of the night.
