”A very charming and remodelled village hotel with an excellent restaurant - locals and travelers alike are welcome. Chef creates new dishes depending the daily food availability - mostly local - organic and fresh. Room was very nice, clean and had a new wonderful bathroom with walk in shower. Breakfast made to order plus smaller buffet for yoghurt, juices, cereals. We would come back anytime.”

”Great size room, cot provided. We were pre-warned of Christmas parties being on over the weekend and had been put further away from an potential noise, we didn't hear a thing and weren't disturbed at all.”

”Very comfortable and well kept room. Ample size, quiet and with everything we needed. We ate in the restaurant each of our three evenings and everything was well prepared, very tasty and LARGE! Service was very good and always with a smile. We both loved the continental style breakfast too. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The location of the accommodation was perfect, being well placed for trips to all our usual, and oft-visited haunts including Dorchester, Wareham and...

”The room was spotless and a lot of thought in the details. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We were the only guests for dinner but didn't feel awkward as the staff including the chef were chatting with us. The place was full of character whilst giving attention to comfort. We absolutely loved it.”

”Really warm welcome at the hotel, taken to our room which was very clean cosy and snuggly. Amenities in the room excellent and we were catered for well, including sufficient space for the dogs. Ate two nights in the bar/restaurant, staff very good, food lovely, excellent selection for gluten free which was amazing to experience. A lovely restful couple of days and made To feel exceptionally welcome ”
