Or head into the pretty Georgian town of Holt (3 miles) to admire elegant architecture, browse independent shops and galleries, and relax in charming cafes. Alternatively, spend a beautiful afternoon discovering the 17th-century country house and parklands at Felbrigg Hall (10 miles). Check out its impressive library, which has over 4,000 books. Or head to the Holt station of the North Norfolk Railway (2.5 miles) to climb aboard a restored steam and diesel train to Sheringham.


Park in your private parking space and step inside your glamping yurt, where a large open-plan interior showcases rustic-chic decor, a sloped ceiling and a pretty wood burner. When it’s time to eat, make a beeline for the kitchenette, which you’ll find in the wooden decked area that’s attached to your yurt. Share a romantic dinner and then snuggle up the wood burner. At the end of the day, retreat to the double bed for a good night’s sleep.
