”Staff so welcoming friendly and full of knowledge I. Regards to the area. Hiking trails, wineries, massage and dining. We visit each year and it never gets old. The rooms are so comfy, lean and cozy with fireplaces. Leave the window open to hear the o ran waves at night! The breakfast is top notch, all fresh made and local. Highly recommend the experience.”

”Ocean was not visible from our room, but we didn’t care. The gardens were absolutely beautiful, the staff very nice and she upgraded our room without us even asking. We will definitely be coming back! ”

”Oh this place is beautiful. The main Lodge is a gorgeous building, full of fascinating books and accessories for sale. (Not to mention the sweetest cats). Stanford has the only indoor pool and hot tub for 100 miles. The restaurant was hot garbage, but Mendocino is chock full of wonderful places to eat.”

”We had a wonderful stay! The room was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the back patio and open space to the garden, the short walk to a semi-private beach, and the pickle ball courts. The property was well maintained. The renovations and overall design of the room was great too— you can tell they put a lot of thought into it to make sure guests feel comfortable and relaxed throughout their stay.”

”We loved everything about our stay here. The breakfasts were the perfect start to the day and generally consisted of a small frittata or 2-egg dish served in a Pyrex ramekin, with a side of freshly baked muffins or cinnamon rolls, and whatever drinks you pre-selected at check-in (coffees and orange juice for us). It's delivered in a basket outside your room each morning at either 8am or 9am (depending on what time you request the day before). There was a small kitchenette (not in the room itself...

”The host who checked me in, was absolutely wonderful, so kind and knowledgeable, very welcoming. The room was so clean, comfortable, with coffee, a microwave, and good size refrigerator, with a private patio. They have a continental breakfast in the lobby, but I slept in so I sadly missed it, as it sounded good. Plenty of parking with a feeling of safety as there are plenty of cameras.”

”Very nice property! Great location, nice views, very nice room which was very clean especially for a Pet friendly room. They had everything you need in the room. The grounds/gardens are well maintained and pretty. Nicely lit at night. The restaurant/Tavern was excellent; great food, wonderful atmosphere and service. Our server Matt was amazing! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Even our fur babies enjoyed the stay just as much as we did. We will be coming back here for sure!”

”We stayed there for our 30 year anniversary. The staff was so nice. They gave us a complimentary bottle of wine. The room was clean and the view was amazing. It was also so close to everything we wanted to do. Definitely will stay there again when we visit Fort Bragg again! ”

”The Weller House is a lovely 1886 historic home converted into a small hotel. Many of the furnishings are period antiques, and each room is decorated with a different color scheme. Being an old house, it does possess some of the quirks inherent, like creaky floors and stairs everywhere, but it is completely charming. It is also located within walking distance from much of the central downtown area. Two thumbs up!”
