Beautiful Adirondack home faces west with huge sun deck and sleeps 10

Welcome to the “new” Ramona Lodge, a home lovingly crafted in true Adirondack style on the site of a vintage lake lodge in Meredith. Situated on Meredith Bay, Ramona Lodge has a coveted western exposure with views of the village of Meredith and Grouse Point. Sunsets at the Lodge are amazing, you’ll want to gather in the evenings on the deck off the main level, the large sun deck, or the beautifully maintained lawn with a firepit patio near the water. Bring your boat up to 25’ and dock it on the right side of the dock (the owner keeps their boat on the left side between the dock and the sun deck). Spend your days swimming in the bay (entry to the water is stone steps) or enjoy the canoe or one of the two available paddleboards.

Inside the house, gather in the main level great room, where the kitchen and breakfast bar open to the living room with a beautiful floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace – the woodstove insert is not available for use. Notice the original Ramona Lodge plaque, updated for the current rebuild, inset into the stone. The deck off the living area has room for 10 to dine al fresco, and there’s a screened porch that can also be accessed from the primary bedroom. The primary suite features a king-sized bed and four-piece ensuite bathroom with jetted tub and double sinks. There is also a half bath and stack washer/dryer on this floor for added convenience – be sure to check out the sink in the half bath!

When you go up to the second floor, there’s a landing with space to curl up and read a book or challenge a buddy to board game. This level features three king bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower.

The lower level has yet another living area with access to the patio outside, where you’ll find the gas grill and wood for the fire pit. There’s a full bathroom with shower/tub combo, convenient for when you need to take a break from swimming but aren’t ready to change out of those wet clothes. The bunk room has two sets of bunk beds and direct access to the bathroom. There is a full-size washer and dryer on this level too.

Sheets, arrival bedmaking service, and bath towel sets are included with this rental. Please bring your beach towels.
