Motellit – Merritt Island

”Our second stay here. A repeat customer from a few years ago - fondly remembered it and specifically sought it out for our stay. Beach right off side porch, has an upper and lower deck, can use their lawn chairs on the beach. Please be cautious with the water though (especially with kids) as the constant rollers makes for a strong undertow. The aquatic themed bedspread a nice touch. Ice, microwave, good sized fridge. Nice spot. Try the New China takeout a couple of minues north for a tastey...

”Pulled in late at night after a long day of travel with my family. The scene was like a cross between The Walking Dead and Pulp Fiction (very strange people roaming around at 1AM). Tried to give benefit of the doubt, walked up to our room through dirty stair case and hallway (there is an invention called a pressure washer), opened the door to a nice stench (a pleasant aroma of cigarettes). ”Inexpensive accommodations is where this Motel 6 shines. Compared to all the other hotels/ motels this one is good. The evening female concierge is great! The rest of the staff.. satisfactory. I booked on Expedia.. very good price however no amenities i.e. no fridge, safe, etc. It had a comfy bed and shower and walls which are the essentials. Next month when I travel again, I asked for a room with a fridge, why all rooms do not have a fridge?? I don't know because it is hot in Florida and where...

”Ok for a one night stay. Not the biggest or the cleanest room out there. Kind of sketchy area, although close to the interstate. Stairs outside had carpet on them which was wet due to rain and as a result smelled. Ice machine next to my first floor room and would hear each time someone got ice.”

”New and clean place, rooms bit enough for a family. Nice pool and lot of toys & watersport equipments.”

”Motel was clean and well-kept, although very basic. Rooms were clearly recently renovated, since there was a slight smell of paint. The beds were comfortable, but the airconditioner were quite loud and directly next to the bed. The pool area seemed ok, even though located at the parking lot. The breakfast was voucher to a nearby diner, and car was needed to get there. That said, the breakfast was good in a american "bacon-eggs-potatoes"-kinda way.”
