”Horrible experience, my family and I drove there from Miami Florida. It’s a 12 hour drive, some of us had to work the first day so we left a little bit late. We didn’t get to this lodge until 5:45 am. I had spoken to ray and he had given me the door code for my room. When we arrived I opened the door at first glance everything looked fine. ”Staff was courteous and allowed us to check in an hour early, which was very nice. However, there were several issues with the room. The bathroom door didn't properly fit and you had to forcefully pull it closed, which was extremely loud to both open and close. Also, the in-room alarm was previously set, which woke my wife up at 3 a.m. and she had to figure out how to turn it off in the middle of the night. But the biggest problem was the smoke alarm, which started doing three-chirps at 4 a.m....

”Nice place was exactly what I pictures showed. Only problems were they didn’t disclose lounge was closed for season until after booked and fire pits were not turned on. Would stay again. Walking distance from the strip(wouldn’t walk down the hill it’s on) but far enough and isolated from the busy area, weird how both things can be true. Feels like a cabin in the woods with hotel amenities. ”

”Complete false claim of “Top Rated Breakfast”. There were tiny muffins, 3 packs mini donuts, pop tarts, tiny yogurts and small boxes of cereal. Not even a nice continental breakfast was offered. We have early morning tournaments and this was my daughters opportunity to get something to eat before starting her busy day. This is completely false advertisement. ”

”It’s no 5 star hotel but I give it 5 stars because for the price you pay, it’s really great. Staff helpful, clean room, great location, and a really beautiful creek going through it right outside the back porch. I’ll go back when I come to Gatlinburg.”

”Stayed 5 days in March. There was no room cleaning. Suppose this could be due to the time of year. The property is good, but certainly not “wonderful “ as described by Expedia. ”

” Wry little water pressure in the sink, other than that we had no problems, staff was friendly and there was plenty of parking. Which we were surprised since we were there on a weekend. ”

”The access to the amenities was great. Room was nice and clean. Only downsides are that the parking is 15.00 website states it’s free. The balcony door does not lock. Other than that I had a great time and will revisit again. ”
