”LaLiT is a historic building, near the colonial seat of power when Calcutta was the capital of the British Raj. The traffic around the hotel is chaotic, not to mention crowded. But the staff were wonderful. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and will stay there again when we are next in Kolkata.”

”Western style hotel with rather good breakfast and a bit worn rooms. Surprisingly not much traffic noise (at least to 4th floor), but some very loud religious prayer calls are totally annoying. I think the hotel should discuss with neighbours to stop them or at least limit to day time. Windows are too dark, hardly any visibility.
