A Hidden Gem in Condesa …Don’t Let the Reviews Scare You Off
I was nervous about booking Casa Decu after reading some of the Google reviews. enroute the hotel, I even considered canceling. But I’m so glad I didn’t.
When I arrived, Carlos at the entrance was incredibly kind and welcoming. I told him how I felt about the place based on what I’d read online, and he simply said, “Why don’t you check out the room first, then decide?”
I went up to my room , and from the moment I stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spotless, spacious, and had a lovely condo-style setup — complete with a small sink and table. The lighting set a relaxed mood, the bed was the perfect size for a solo traveler, and I even had a beautiful view of the courtyard with a lush green plant wall. It felt serene and private.
The bathroom was a good size, equipped with all the essentials, and most importantly it was clean and fresh-smelling. The whole hotel actually smells amazing — like a place you want to come back to after a day of exploring.
Casa Decu is a stunning, well-kept boutique hotel in a great Condesa location. As a bonus, they even offer a complimentary bottle of wine, which is a lovely touch for those who enjoy a glass.
