”This is what I would expect from a 3 maybe star place. Pay for towels, old, no dining options etc, not enough BBQs. Stairs to everywhere etc. quite a few pools - ok. Activities more geared to younger kids not 9 and above other than swimming. Would choose somewhere else next time. ”

We were allocated a tent site directly beside the bins without prior notice, which caused issues immediately. ”View was ok. Other buildings blocked ocean. Room was decent, renovated from an old apartment. Tiles on the floor in the shower are VERY slippery. Careful! Couch was dirty and had some stains on it, but room was otherwise clean. Seemed expensive for what it was, but being a large room near the beach in Burleigh, it was probably priced accordingly.”

Criticisms- whilst my dietary requirement was catered for at breakfast, it was done so with an air of annoyance as if I had a choice (I wish I didn't have my condition) pending which chef was on and how busy/understaffed the restaurant was.
