”The room was really lovely very comfortable bed and the staff was lovely and friendly.”

”We booked a studio for two nights which was on 1/F and clean. A bottle of milk and some cakes were offered, which tasted good. We could park in the driveway or on the street. We visited the Four Waterfalls and hiked to the Pen y Fan along the horse shoe route, both spots were within 30 minutes of drive. Tesco and restaurants were just within a few minutes.”

”Reception staff sullen; restaurant staff overrun, service slow. Food quality poor. Hotel looks good but otherwise nothing special. Shower awful - hot then cold, lost pressure during my shower. Grounds have some interesting photo opportunities for weddings but disjointed and tacky for any other time.”

”All the staff were fantastic exept the manager who was on duty he came across as being arrogant and no interest in the customer.”

”Breakfast was very good and in a lovely peaceful garden. Staff in the hotel were fantastic, really helpful even under pressure. It was horribly hot the weekend that we were there (unusual for Cardiff) but they did everything possible to make us comfortable with fans (no air-conditioning).”

”We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. Very clean place. Bed was super comfy had a fantastic nights sleep. We will definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you Andrew and all the team for looking after us. 😊😊”
