”Quaint New England charm with beautifully maintained grounds. We enjoyed both the spa and the Red Rooster restaurant which were both wonderful. There was a wedding onsite one night while we were there and while beautiful, made it difficult to enjoy the outside fire and smores that evening as it was very loud. It was remarkable that you could not however hear the noise from inside the Inn. Overall I would highly recommend the Woodstock Inn resort & spa to couples, families and friend trips.”

”Our room was surprisingly spartan. For a three day stay, there were two washcloths, two hand towels. Tiles in the bathroom were missing in places, broken in others. The carpeting was worm. Housekeeping had left a filthy rag in the bathtub. There was no hand or body lotion in the bathroom. We just completed a two month, ten thousand mile roadtrip with a dog. ”There for one night. Stayed in the river house. Room was good. Very quiet. The fire pits and sitting area along the river was fantastic. Sat out there at night after dinner and for coffee the next morning.”

”This place was the BEST find!!! It was sparkling clean, everything new, everything you could possibly need. Keyless Entry works very well. Very dog friendly including dog bones, bowls, towel etc. The town of Woodstock is adorable so I will be back so I can explore more!!!!”

”Nice property. A little dated. Pool is closed til 2028, that was disappointing. Sheets were clean but had burn holes like someone was smoking in bed. Hornets flying around balcony so couldn’t use it. Old air conditioners in every room that sound like a loud engine that keeps turning on and off when you are trying to sleep. ”Comfortable room, quiet (except the 5 am fire alarm—which was short duration). Friendly staff, crowded parking lot, returning 9pm, was difficult to find a safe place to park the car. But overall, an excellent, convenient location.”

”This property was at its worst for our stay. We booked the room more than 30 days in advance but they only notified us of the following problems 2 hours before we checked in. The elevators were not working and we were initially booked on the 4th floor. We were relocated to the 2nd floor which required pulling three 50+ pound suitcases up (and down) a flight of stairs. ”We loved the property and the grounds. We were able to use the full kitchen in the common area off the main house. The rooms were clean and the bed was luxurious. The fire pit was an added bonus. We will definitely book again.”
