”Nice location/setting but the property is a little “tired’ which is reflected somewhat in the price. Unfortunately, there was a wedding reception during the Saturday afternoon and night which dominated the use of all areas of the hotel until midnight. The silver lining was the Hop Pole Inn pub at the bottom of the driveway was really excellent and highly recommended. I wouldn’t rule this hotel out if you want to stay there midweek as it has its merits - rooms are fine and nice towels...

”Todella hyvällä paikalla Bathissa sijaitseva perinteinen hotelli. Ei ehkä ihan hintansa väärtti. Vähän jo aikaa nähnyt. Huoneessa oli kylmä ja ikkunasta ei nähnyt mihinkään. Sänky oli hyvä. Aamiainen koostui tilattavasta lämpimästä annoksesta sekä kylmästä buffetista. Ihan ok, muttei erinomainen. Hotellilla on 6 pysäköintipaikkaa, jotka pitää varata etukäteen, maksaa 15£ per päivä ja niihin oli hieman hankala ajaa (ahdasta).”

”The inn was beautiful. The location is perfect. It is right outside Bath, next to the horse racecourse. The room was nearly brand new which was both good and bad. The good was it was spotless and well maintained. The bad was the radiator wasn’t working the first night so my son was shivering all night.
