”The house is situated in a quiet, peaceful location with an incredible view. We watched lobster boats come and go and seals fishing in the bay. A fantastic place to spend a few days! The house is small and no-frills, but clean, comfortable and well-maintained. We appreciated how it was far enough from Bar Harbor to avoid the August crowds, but close enough to go there for the day. Check in/out was straightforward, and communication was excellent.”

”The location is gorgeous with plenty of nearby walks, hikes, and interesting places to keep us busy. We saw deer, eagles and turkeys on the property. The cottage was clean and comfortable. It was quiet—at times we could hear the ocean from Pigeon Hill Bay just down the embankment across the road. Perfect in every way!”

”Perfect location! mornings and evenings on the beach searching for sea glass felt like a true piece of heaven!”

”Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels...

”Staying at this property, which I did for one week, was like visiting my grandmother's house while she's out of town. The cottage is custom built, in a quiet spot near the water, and well equipped with kitchen utensils, chinaware, two bikes, canoes, wood for the fireplace, etc. The home is well designed, and offers the attitude of a summer rental cottage vs. a commercial rental establishment. It's in a great location to meditate on the glory of our Creator yet close enough to see attractions...
