”I had never stayed in a room above a Public House but I was amazed just how good the Staff made me feel. I was escorted to a lovely clean room with excellent facilities. I soon realised that the owners took personal control of guest relations when I requested extra warm bedding, it was delivered to my room by one of the co-owners, in person! ”Friendly welcome. Assigned room next to fellow travellers as requested. Wonderful spacious cosy room with luxurious toiletries. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Reasonably priced evening meal - though small portions were huge! Lovely breakfast, with choice from 3 cooked as well as cereals and toast. Lovely stay. ”

”A very refined country hotel, fine dining was excellent quality. Vey helpful and friendly staff. Away from the hustle and bustle . An very well stocked bar with good wines and an extensive whisky selection.

”The place is amazing, really well maintained and decorated. The staff were really attentive and helpful, especially Karen who did breakfast - she was fantastic with our kids and they couldn't wait to see her on our second morning! Food was lovely and room was very well equipped! We will be back!”
