The house needs serious attention. Windows donât open or are stuck open. The carpets are stained and dirty. We didnât walk around without shoes on. The Lino that covers the lounge and kitchen area is also old and it was sticky for us to walk on. The dirt is ground in. The house was not clean. The owner has said we should have told her and they would have got the cleaners in again, as she thought they might have forgotten to do a refresh clean before we arrived. This did not need a refresh clean. The dirt had been there ages, I canât even guess how long. Iâve attached pictures and you can see the balcony and note the downstairs bathroom tiles where you can clearly see the grime around the edges.You need to run all the taps for at least 20 mins, as the plumbing is so bad. The owner said that a plumber has told them they need to replace all the plumbing. I would have really liked to be able to wash my hands without waiting 20 mins. There are also problems with the toilets, they block and the owners have added signs telling you along with a pair of tongs and a bin! The patio is broken up and you cannot use the beach gate. The back door wood has rotted and you can see daylight through it.
