Tule nauttimaan kodikkaasta hirsimökistämme Penns Creekin rannalla, joka on tunnettu taimen- ja pikkuvirta, noin 250 ”leveä. Mökki on lähellä maaperän loppua, joka sopii pitkille, rauhallisille, kävely- ja pyöräretkille. Kuistilla on upeat auringonlaskunäkymät purolle, koska mökki sijaitsee puron kaaressa.

Veden ääni kuistilla on niin rentouttava ja rauhallinen, että et ehkä edes vaivaudu menemään leirirenkaaseen lähempänä veden reunaa.

What a beautiful cabin, has everything you need for a home away from home. The decor of the cabin was a nice touch. Great job!!!!Being on the river with the outside setting with a fire pit was peaceful and relaxing. Being able to see the deer every morning and evening cross the river was a nice surprise we timed that like clock work being able to see the deer every day. Every thing was perfect with our stay. Relaxing getaway

This place is awesome! It is so peaceful with the sounds of the creek, even by the campfire, just a relaxing place to elope for a few days, the kayaks and the bikes where greatly appreciated! Our family really enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Memorial Weekend Stay

We stayed as a family of 5. The cabin is very cute for a small family or a couples getaway. The setting beside the wide creek was beautiful. The neighbors across the creek had loud music most of the nights which was very bothersome.. Other than that it was a good experience.

Outstanding Getaway/Anniversary/Family Trip Spot

My wife and I stayed here for a "short-term" honeymoon before leaving on a longer trip. It was perfect for us. Hoping to revisit frequently. Would work great for a small family trip as well. Location was clean, quiet, and offered everything we needed. River access huge plus!

Great, secluded location with nice views of Penns Creek. Actually accommodated 6 adults with some creativity. Patio/fire pit area is the best feature. Well designed and constructed with great view of river. Kitchen had everything we needed. Good access to breweries, PSU, hiking and fly fishing up river.

Great location and very clean. 2 of the chairs by the fireplace had slats missing and we couldn’t use them, but there were plenty for us. Just noting as something that could likely be fixed easily. Wasn’t an issue as all of us loved the place. Landon sent emails and made process very easy.

Gorgeous remote cabin

Such an amazing property with gorgeous views. Would not recommend this place for people with mobility issues as the stairs, especially going downstairs, are extremely difficult. I actually found it easier to go out the front door and walk around and use the basement door to get to the lower level than use those stairs. The location is remote and very peaceful. The river was clear, shallow and amazing. The firepit was also amazing. Loved sitting on the porch swing and listening to the water with my morning coffee. Would definitely come back. Bring food! Not many places nearby.

Absolutely Perfect! Luxury and privacy in the beautiful PA woods.

This property is absolutely perfect for a vacation in the woods. It is secluded enough for privacy yet close enough to civilization to make convenient trips to the grocery store, gas station, hardware store, etc. The property itself is well groomed, easy to park at, and has very easy access to the river the cabin is built next to. The fire pit is perfect as you can cook food on it (although you do have access to a propane grill) with more firewood than you could ever need provided. There are outdoor seats which make for perfect sitting and looking at the gorgeous view of the river. Additionally, there were 2 kayaks seating 4 total for kayaking along the river. The Cabin itself is beautiful as the interior, furniture, and appliances all look very new and extremely well maintained. The beds were made (and very clean), the kitchen was stocked with a coffee machine with coffee, pots, pans, silverware, plates, bowls, microwave, griddle, stove, etc. There were towels very nicely rolled for us to use, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, etc were all provided for us as well! There's also a lovely leather reclining couch and smart TV and free internet which makes for perfect movie nights. In the basement there was also a washer and dryer with detergent provided which made it easier to pack lightly for the trip. It felt as though we were staying at a luxury hotel with how clean and well maintained the cabin was. It was luxury in the privacy of the Pennsylvanian woods! The manager of the property was also very professional and kept great communication with us and was sure to answer questions and concerns very quickly and conveniently. Finding a nicer cabin in a better location with a better property manager in PA would be extremely hard to find. This cabin is truly a catch and a half!

More than we expected, but exactly what we needed!

The house was spotless upon arrival, and the check-in process was seamless. It was the perfect getaway for my husband and me, as we love nature and the forest. Penn's Creek is *right there*, and while my husband didn't have any fly fishing from the cabin area, we did explore the area quite a bit and look forward to returning. The bed is phenomenal. I haven't slept that well in a very long time, and enjoying morning coffee outside on the amazing firepit/patio area was a great way to start the day! I can't recommend it enough, and is a perfect getaway to relax, recharge, and enjoy the amazing surroundings!

A rare find!

I can say without a doubt that I have never sat out on a deck and had the pleasure of seeing a Bald Eagle fly past just above a creek. That alone made this stay exceptional. The cabin invited total peace and relaxation. We didn’t want to leave and ended up grilling out and eating outside creek side both nights rather than going to restaurants. The property is so well appointed (including bikes and kayaks!) we can’t suggest adding a thing. True, the stairs up to the bedroom loft and down to the second bedroom are quite steep. Even so, my husband, who found this challenging, was the first to say he wanted to return for another stay. And we will!

Girls Weekend

We loved this cabin! The cabin was exactly like the pictures and was really clean. Five of us ladies came for a girls weekend, went to Shade Mountain Winery and just relaxed by the fire! It was the relaxing getaway we all needed! Definitely would recommend this property and would considering returning again!

our adventure

The house is really cute. We enjoyed two fires in the fire pit while we were there. The kitchen had everything I needed. The cabin is set high off Penn's Creek, however the way down to the water is steep and a bit slippery. Perhaps a stout rope tied from tree to tree would assist in getting to the water. Fall is not a good time for fishing so perhaps some literature on where to look up the best times to fish the creek and where the fishing "holes" are would be helpful. The guide to restaurants was most helpful. The layout of the cabin is unique. The one bathroom is large enough and all the linen was provided. Though there are bunks off the play room I don't think the cabin is right for more than 2 adults and a couple of older children. The climb up and down the latter to the loft was negotiable for both my husband and I but the house is not recommended for anyone with trouble with steps. I loved the playroom in spite of the narrow spiral staircase down. The giant blackboard wall provided something to keep my hands busy on the two rainy days during the week. Not being familiar with a "smart TV" we were limited to what we could find. A little instruction would have helped. The narrow road leading to the cabin is dark at night but there are so few using it there was no difficulty. Our adventure started mid week when a rain storm lasting more than 24 hours caused the creek to overflow it's banks. The house is on the better side of the creek and the water never reached the patio but flooded the homes on the other side of the creek. We were unable to get out of the area that evening but no damage occurred and it provided an interesting sight from the safety of the front porch. We hope to return for another visit next year. Patty

Very relaxing

We love penns creek & this cabin is placed perfectly right on the water. Very clean cabin & also loved the deck and fire pit area.

PA Creek cabin vacation

We enjoyed a lot in the wooden house. The place was perfect and secluded for our family gathering. It has amazing views of the creek from the cabin deck. As mentioned they provided kayaks, everyone including kids enjoyed them in the creek. The fire pit and outside patio was outstanding with the lighting and great water views. The creek cabin property was well maintained and excellent we definitely would love to book again in the future.
