”Heather the manager was very friendly and welcoming. We got our drinks at the bar and confirmed our stay and we had a lovely evening meal. The room was spacious and comfortable with a shower and bath.It was very quiet.Breakfast in the morning was great and heather made us feel so at home. Definitely would recommend a stay.”

”We had another lovely stay at The Eagle & Child. It offers great value for money. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. The en-suite shower room was a good size and the shower was powerful and hot. Tea and coffee making facilities in room with complimentary bottles of water were appreciated as were the chocolate biscuits.
