”The room was lovely, spacious and very clean. The food was really tasty and the staff were very friendly. Would thoroughly recommend!”

”Property is a farm with lots of animals around. Lovely to see the lambs and the goats were very lively. Room comfy and clean. Breakfast was farm eggs so really fresh. Full English available, cooked to order alongside cereal. Turn into property sharp but we managed long wheel base van with a few manoeuvres”

”Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. ”

”We had a wonderful stay. The room was perfect and loved wandering through the gardens and nearby walks despite the weather. Cosy evening by the fireplace, red wine and board games. The Christmas decorations were tasteful and festive. Fantastic team of staff and look forward to returning.”

”Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x”
