Itvwas perfect place bext to the beach and all! So i would recommend this place and i would come back and stay! I gave 4 stars because there was a little weird smell and one of the bathroom fossit was dripping leaked i guess but im sure they will see it and fix it. Its clean but my clean expectations ih high because im ocd nut to me it was clean enough so ill be back for sure!! :) enjoyed it and my kids as well!!

Should’ve read comments

Where do I start. First of this property cost way too much for the issues and condition I had. I had read bad comment and asked the owner about it and they stated they were not aware of those issues. The check in time is very late first of all and to make it worse I didn’t get my door code until 20 minutes after the check in time, no towels and washcloths until the next day (truck didn’t run they said), main door busted, bathroom smells like sewage the whole time, the pullout bed I used for my kids was still full of sand, not enough tp for 8 people, dirty tissues in drawer and under bed, stained spots on comforter, and even though I requested 2 car tags I just got 1 and then had to pay an extra $10 for it, metal chairs on balcony got rust spots on our towels, microwave handle was broken. I usually stay in the Ariel dunes and never had any issues and thought this beautiful building would be awesome!!! Very unhappy with my stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The good stuff: The location can't be beat. It's steps from the private beach and the view is gorgeous. We loved being able to walk back and forth easily to the water, and the kids spent each day going from beach to pool and back. We didn't have to haul all our belongings down to the water, since we were so close. Parking is very accessible. Elevators were nice and operated quickly. The couch and chairs in the living room are comfy, and the kids had no complaints about the beds.The not-so-good: This particular condo was pretty bad. Our prior stay in another building two years ago was great, and our friends stayed in a nice condo in the same building. Unfortunately, this one needs some TLC. There was a sewage smell emanating from the bathroom off the primary bedroom, and it grew stronger over the course of the week. We called two days into our stay to report it and were told they'd "submit a ticket." Nobody ever came. It got so bad that we couldn't use that bathroom (which somewhat defeats paying for a two-bathroom condo). There was some kind of drain fly infestation in that bathroom as well - smallish black flies everywhere. Everything was older and worn. The screens on the balcony had huge rips, the curtains were filthy, the cookware was flaking huge chunks of nonstick coating off. The washing machine quit working repeatedly and left patches of liquid detergent on everything. The dryer definitely didn't dry. The bed in the primary bedroom was so broken down, we kept rolling into the middle. Their website gives zero information, and other sites listed items in the condo that weren't there, like a hairdryer. Getting a hold of anybody knowledgeable is virtually impossible - emails went unanswered and phone calls resulted in being told incorrect information, so I had to call repeatedly. For what we paid and the location, everything except the smell was tolerable. Most of it was minor annoyances & the place was clean-looking on arrival. Have moderate

A Major Disappointment

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were disappointed in the condition of the condo. When we checked in, there was a load of damp, mildewed towels in the washer. The floors were so dirty my socks were brown. The rugs in the entry hall were a tripping hazard, especially with wheeled luggage. The drapes had a large stain and were not attached to the curtain rod for about a foot. At the many rentals we have stayed at, items such as salt and pepper, coffee, and other cooking necessities would have been provided. And items such as hair dryers were almost always present. These items are expected for the price we paid for the condo. There also were no curtains in the master bedroom. Not all people wake up with the sun to go the beach. The furniture and the saggy master bed need to be upgraded. And I don't know if this is the responsibility of the property management company, but the late check-in and early check-out would lead one to believe there was a thorough cleaning of the condo. Plus, the inconvenient times of the late check-in made for a frantic process of getting our luggage and items into the condo to make it on time for our opening event. As well, the early check-out made for an early and hectic morning to leave on time. In closing, I would be greatly surprised if the owners of the condo have spent time there in the last year. If they had, they would have noticed the above items. I hope they do improve on them for the next occupants ASAP.

There were stains on the curtains, carpet and bedding was very used, rust on the kitchen utensils, pots and pans very very old and falling apart (handles coming off pots).You can hear the neighbors talk in the rooms next door, multiple nights of loud teens lingering/running in the halls past midnight.We will stay someplace different next time.

There were stains and dirt on the sofa and chair, men's sandals were left on the balcony, which was stained and dirty. The shower rack in the master bathroom was broken and the shower curtain fell! The dryer did not dry well; I had to run each load twice to get the clothes somewhat dry. Daughter forgot her pillow and I called the front desk, but nobody has called me back about it. Appliances need to be updated, especially the stove, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. The view, size of the condo, and location is what made the trip nice. Luckily, we were able to make do with what we had. My kids(grown) had a nice time and I got to spend time on the beach. We will come back, except we will try a different condo. 203A has lots of potential, but needs improvement.

Reviewer Comments: Curtain to sliding glass doors wouldn’t slide to open so we could see our view; towel rack had been ripped off primary bathroom wall; not enough towel racks to hang wet towels/swimsuits; barely any kitchen silverware that was decent, no regular size spoons; furniture was stained and dirty; blinds in bedrooms need to be replaced; take down the curtain rods, or put up curtains - need curtains, way too much light coming in bedroom while trying to sleep; tv sound was messed up; kitchen counters were stained

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented A203 from Seascape. It was a disaster and the worst place we have stayed. The door frame was busted. The towel rack was ripped out of the bathroom. They left no linens for the pull out couch. My daughter had to sleep on towels and luckily she had brought one blanket. The shower in one of the bathrooms had no liner so water poured out. The screen door was broken and we got stuck on the balcony one night until my husband came in to open it for us. There was no electrical plate on one of the electric sockets which is a fire hazard. The lamp in the extra bedroom was broken with wires exposed. I called and the girls in the office was very nice and got extra linens sent up and they fixed the electrical plate when I told them it was a fire hazard. I asked for a property manager to call me back twice. Guess what? No call. DO NOT STAY here. The walls are paper thin and we could hear whole converstations from other rooms. All of this stuff was easy fixes and should have been done before the unit was ever rented.

Good vacation! We love Majestic Sun!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed here for several years now! Some condos nicer than others but location and amenities are good!!Washer and dryer definitely needed replacing in this last condo!

Overall great stay and good location.

The location is great for walking to beach, and has great pool options if weather doesn’t cooperate. My only complaint was a very loud sound coming from the wall or neighbor sounding like a flush but 10x louder. Keeps you awake at night and wakes you up at all times.

The process of renting, checking in and out are pretty much a no brainer. I would like to have been able to check in earlier. The condo is nice enough but the kitchen was lacking in some essentials like a spatula for one and there were no grilling tools. Also the amenities they say are included are a joke. In order to get the two beach chairs and umbrella you have to walk at least a half a mile down the beach from the condo which was unacceptable to me . There were other rentals available at the crosswalks from the condo but they were not the ones included in your package. Other than these few inconveniences we had a great time. I probably will not stay at this location again however.

Beautiful view

The experience was great! My family wished the weather had been better my family could get in the water. We love the beach and will be back .

Great spot for Destin...

Comfortable condo right across from beach. Walking distance to a few restaurants and frozen drink establishment to cool down under an umbrella. On 2nd floor which makes it an easy walk down stairs to pool area and outside to the beach. No long wait times at elevators.
