  • Tämä on uskomaton huoneisto upeimmista maisemista. Itse huoneisto on kolme makuuhuonetta, joissa 2 kylpyhuonetta, keittiö, ruokailutila, olohuone ja upea kansi, josta nautit varmasti. Ole hyvä ja ilmoita minulle sosiaalisessa mediassa (Beach Vacations Nicole Johns) lisäsäästöistä ennen varauksen tekemistä.

    50 jalkaa edestä olevalta kannelta on esteetön näkymä rannalle ja kauniille Persianlahden vedelle. Etukansi käärii sivukansille, johon kuuluu ruokailutila ulkona. Täällä voit nauttia aamukahvista katsellessasi delfiinejä tai tähtien katseita yöllä ja kuunnella valtameren aaltojen rentouttavaa ääntä. Kansiin pääsee joko kahdesta makuuhuoneesta tai olohuoneesta. Ranta on kirjaimellisesti vain muutaman askeleen päässä kannelta. Uima-allas, grilli, poreallas, arcade ja kuntosali ovat kaikki lähellä, joten voit nauttia kaikesta!

    Makuuhuoneessa on king-vuode, joka on riittävän mukava nukkuakseen yön pois! Voit käpertyä hyvän kirjan kanssa tai vain rentoutua ja katsella televisiota, josta on hieno näkymä rannalle. Siellä on taulu-tv kaapeliyhteydellä ja DVD-soitin, joten muista tuo suosikkielokuvasi! Päällikkökylvyssä on hänen ja hänen nielujaan peilatulla oven vaatehuoneella.

    'Seashell Paradise' on huoneistojen toinen huone ja se on varustettu queen-vuoteella. Siinä on myös taulutelevisio, kaapeli, DVD-soitin ja peilipöytäinen vaatekaappi.

    'Sailboat Bliss' on kolmas makuuhuone ja siinä on kaksi erillistä vuodetta. Hotellissa on taulu-tv, kaapeli-palvelu, DVD-soitin ja myös peilipintainen vaatekaappi.

    'Flip-flop Mania' on toinen kylpyhuone ja siinä on täysikokoinen kylpyamme ja yksi pesuallas. Se sijaitsee vastapäätä pesula-aluetta, jossa on pesukone ja kuivausrumpu avuksesi.

    Olohuoneessa on queen-vuodesohva ja kaksi tuolia, jotta voit rentoutua ja rentoutua samalla kun nautit rannanäkymästäsi tai katsot televisiota.

Perfect Spot for Family Vacation

Our family of 6 stayed in this condo for spring break and we had a great experience. Fast access to the beach, hot tub and heated pool on property, plenty of beds and seating, functional kitchen, and close to shopping and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone with kids or possible for two smaller families to share. Definitely going to book this property again.

Wonderful Family Friendly Stay

Mainsail is a great property, especially if you have kids. The pools and hot tub were great! We loved this condo - right on the beach, no need for an elevator to access, great views and big enough for our family of 5. Having access to the beach chairs and umbrella was very convenient. We highly recommend Mainsail 201!

Mainsail

This is our 4th year staying at Mainsail Condos. It really is located in the most convenient area. The pool and beach are never overly crowded. This condo was a first time for my family. I will never book anywhere else. The first floor was so convenient. You can see the ocean from that level. The condo was spacious and clean. Thank you for having us!

1st floor easy beach access

1st time to the Destin area. Loved that the outlets/cvs/ Winn Dixie and Starbucks were all within walking distance as well as some local shops! Sand was uncontrollable as expected even with sweeping daily. 1st floor access to the beach made going there with kids a breeze when we needed to run back to the room for anything. Porch was a huge plus. Family of 8 could sit out and watch the storms without getting rained on. Master was HUGE! Bunk beds were a bit wobbly. Master toilet teeters when on it lol. Kitchen was amazingly stocked with pots and pans. Lots of boogie boards and some sand toys were provided along with chairs/ umbrellas which was a plus. No real complaints other than simple cosmetic things! Loved not being in the heart of traffic. Close enough yet far enough to the chaos of downtown.

Beautiful modern condo in an ideal location!! Search no further!

I've been coming to this area for 20+ years and have found the ideal location for the whole family (young kids, teens, grandparents). This unit is on the ground floor, steps away from the boardwalk to the beach. So easy to move all our beach gear back and forth. Incredible panoramic views from the porch. Perfect for coffee or cocktails! The kitchen and bathrooms must have been renovated recently and are modern and beautifully decorated. Kitchen provided all the equipment for our cooking needs. Every room is equipped with TVs, but we spent most of our time enjoying the wrap around patio. Condo was spotless and communication from owner was timely. Multiple pools, tennis courts, shuffle board courts, grills and more short walk away. Dream location and family trip, we will be back!

Great trip

The location is amazing. You can walk straight out to the beach or pool. Beach chairs and umbrella service included really made a difference with a 5month old baby. Kitchen has pots and pans along with adequate utensils. Small amount of shampoo/dishwasher soap/detergent provided which helped. Towels and extra linens also provided and were in great condition. The community at Mainsail was great and the security is great. One parking space comes with the unit, but you can also buy a second space if needed. Condo also located across the street from Chick-fil-a and the outlets. The unit was clean. Could use a new fabric on living room couch/ chairs along with a repair on the sliding doors. Overall great stay and would stay again.

I was very disappointed when you are not allowed to park in owners parking. 2 were handicapped.

Parking was hard. The master bed is horrible. I went and bought a mattress blow up. It hasn’t been updated in 10 years. Owners get the front row at the beach and the beach boy was very inconsiderate of someone being handicapped and put his way in the back. He was very rude. We love the location of the condo and the closest to the water but I don’t know if I would go back again. Also they never seen the The code the day that you check in at 3 o’clock it’s always 330 or 4 o’clock or 5 o’clock before you get the code.

Great Location

The best part of this condo is the location. It is literally steps from the beach. The entire complex is in a great central location as well. The downfall was lack of cleanliness. All the adults (4) in our group complained to each other about how dirty this condo was. The cleaning lady was sweeping on her way out as we arrived. This dishwasher was going. The floors were not mopped and you could tell areas that hardly ever get mopped due to build up on the edges of the floor. Ceiling fans and air vents were full of dust. The table had a very sticky residue that we could not get off. The patio door was very difficult to close. There seemed to be a shortage of pillows (we could only find 5) and they were very flat. The living area furniture was dirty and could use a deep cleaning. Lastly, the mattresses were terrible. I’m really not one to write a bad review, but I believe this condo could really be a gem. It just needs some improvements and a really good deep cleaning.

Location is great- won’t stay again

PROS- The location and having access off the deck directly to the beach boardwalk was perfect!The condo offered plenty of room. The kitchen had everything you need.The owner allowed us to check in about 30 min early and got us a temporary code to do so. CONS- The dryer was broken when we arrived( Friday). Messaged the owner & she was quick to respond letting me know it would likely be Monday before she could get someone out which we totally understood. I reached back out Monday and she informed me that “ I have been on the phone with them early this morning. They are looking to see if the part is there. It’s something in the switch. That makes the dryer start.” continued to say it broke with the last renters & had someone out to repair and they told her it was fixed at the moment but needed a new spring for the start button. She was not transparent with us & had she informed me knowing there was an issue before our stay we could have planned for not having access to the washer and dryer. Traveling with an infant and young children we needed that. Never fixed for us. Upon arrival the unit smelled of pine sol however the kitchen table was a sticky mess. Sand is next to impossible to rid completely but it was as if the cleaning person didn’t even bother sweeping maybe just mopped over it or not even at all. I swept the day we arrived & had a large pile of sand, hair, & food crumbs. Dirt buildup on floor, dirty vents, light switches. I could go on but out of space.

Loved the location and how close to the beach it was. But it was not as clean as I was expecting. We had several bugs in the unit. Might want to exterminate. Pool and hot tub were not very clean but overall it was a good vacation for us.

Nice Spot With Easy Access

The best part of this unit is it being on the ground floor since you never have to use the elevator and you literally walk out your back patio and you are on the beach 100 feet later. Unit is definitely a rental only unit as the unit lacked character and had the bare minimums in decor. Do not let that put you off as everything we needed was there and easily accessible.

Perfect views

The property was awesome and the views were perfect. Parking was a bit of a walk and with husband who is older and disabled made things a little harder we had to drop him with one of us to stay with him off then go find parking, otherwise it was perfect vacation

Location, location, location

The best location. Nice place but slightly dated. My only complaint is it needed dusting in several places including the fans. Also not sure the back door is actually locking. We would stay here sgain.

Location is great for a beach getaway, but it is in serious need of updating (new matrasses, closet doors, etc.) and a deep cleaning.

Not perfect but it was okay

We love the location of this property and have actually stayed here 2 times. The first time we were more than happy. This second time there were some issues. The property wasn't cleaned as very well when we arrived. The bathroom toilet kept clogging, and the dishwasher didn't work. The property is in a great location with beautiful views a big porch and easy access to the beach.

Great location - First day hiccups, needs some TLC

The location is great. After the first day of aggravation and disappointment, our few days here ended up being fine. It took us three+ hours past check-in to get into the rental because it wasn't cleaned. We had to cancel our first night dinner plans with family because at 6:30-7pm we were bringing in luggage and groceries when we should've been in at 3pm. We did get refunded the cleaning fee. The condo unit needs a deep clean and some easy repairs (broken closet doors, medicine cabinet was rusted and its door would not stay closed, LR couch and chairs need cleaned, bed linens (quilts) washed, etc). Based on other reviews, I was worried about roaches, we saw one dead roach in the kitchen floor. Note to owner: a handyman, cleaning service and 4 hours would make a world of difference in this condo. Location wise, we couldn't have asked for anything better. Sitting outside on the patio looking straight at the beach and water was amazing. The view and daily beach service somewhat made up for the inside feeling less than sanitary. Our check-in process (to find it wasn't clean and then the three hours with groceries ruining in the hot car) was terrible. Advice: Bring a candle or air fresheners to filter out the wet mildew smell (understandable though due to the proximately to the water). Overall, if you're a clean freak, this may not be the place for you!

Perfect location but room needs work

We picked this unit due to it being the closest unit to the beach where we had our wedding. The location is perfect but that's about the only plus on this unit. Our group had more than 10 rooms rented and this one was by far the most dated and run down. Upon entry, closet doors were off their hinges, parts of the ceilings were peeling off, the patio doors either didn't open or didn't work properly. Some couldn't even be locked so their is no security. The water heater would last for about half a shower. There was also construction going on at the property which nobody mentioned when booked, so if you wanted to sit by the pool or on the patio during the day you would hear the sound of saws, hammers, and grinders. I would recommend this property as it seems fairly good for a relaxing beach vacation, but I would suggest renting another unit until this one gets updated.

Beautiful view but at a high cost (infested with roaches) Manger did address during our stay.

10 members of my family were staying at Mainsail for fall break. It took 3 attempts to book this unit to get a response/approval. The property manager did let us know that she had not had access to her computer to check emails. Not a huge deal but it did cause quite a bit of anxiety due to the open condo's that could house 7 people were running low. This unit being a ground floor with a 8, 6, and 5 month old was ideal. Upon arriving I was unware of what to do as far as check in. There was a security shack and the guard on duty was very helpful as my name was not on his check in list. When we made it to the condo we had no instructions on how to enter and it took emails and phone calls to VRBO to try to get it worked out. The manager again was nice and sent a PDF with instructions. The door code would not work and I was able to use the PDF to locate her cell number and she immediately was able to generate a new code and made sure to text the code to me so I would have it available when needed. Once inside, the condo had a dirty mop smell but appeared to be fairly clean. It because apparent very quickly that the condo was not clean. The pillows on the bed had dirty case on them and smelled. There was a dead roach in one of the drawers (more on this soon), and the bathrooms had hair in the showers and on the floors. The 2nd day of our stay as we entered into the condo we noticed a live roach in the hallway. With there being palm trees I figured maybe it was an outdoor breed that somehow made its way in. The next morning as I was getting items together in the kitchen there was yet another live roach in a cabinet. This time I contacted the property manager asking her thoughts on how this could be remedied. She let us know that Mainsail is in charge of pest control and the next day they were sent out to spray. However, during our stay we continued to see roaches and took several pictures and was able to identify them as German Roaches that are quick breeding. This caused a lot of worry and anxiety during our stay that they may craw on us or get into our baggage and us take them home and our personal properties get infested. Overall the location of the condo was great. The condo had a master sink that didn't drain, a leak above the refrigerator, a loud ceiling fan in the master that could not be used, toilet paper holders that had been ripped from the wall. The manager was nice but I would not recommend and I would not stay again.
