Lomamökit – Miyako-jima

”My boyfriend and I had a very pleasant time at Canopy by Hilton at Miyako! The place was brand new, personnel were friendly, everything was very clean and the rooftop pool was fantastic (even though the 4000jpy/1hr price for some of the sunbeds was a tad bit pricey in my opinion). The view from our room was incredible, especially the sunset!! You are also able to enjoy it at the rooftop pool where there’s a DJ playing in the evening. The ameneties (gym, laundry, common rooms) were convenient...

”Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällisiä. Itse hotelli on jo parhaat päivänsä nähnyt, mikä itsessään ei haitannut. Sängyt olivat kuitenkin todella kovat ja huoneessa märät vaatteet eivät kuivuneet. Tuntui, että huoneessa oli kosteaa koko ajan.”

”Self contained and peaceful. Great for couples or families.”

”It was nice quiet place wood every where. Clean. I would stay here again good price for 1 night”

”The Cosmos building was a great place to stay during the super typhoon. The kitchen allowed for cooking of simple meals, the customer service was great (even staying open right until the day the typhoon hit), and the location was very convenient!”

”The Pros: very clean. Lovely colouring. Beautiful garden. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. A/C works well! The Cons: They shut down the restaurant the day we went - no big deal. Except that there was no grocery stores or restaurants close by, minimum 35 minute walk one way. They didn’t offer a shuttle, only a bike for $40pp. Or a taxi ($20-$30 each way). If we were informed before hand we could have stopped at a grocery store on our way to the accommodation. So it was very frustrating after a...
