”Like a lot of Japanese apartments and houses, this is run by a local Japanese family for over 30 years. The owner came out to welcome us when we were parking our car. It is very thoughtful to provide a small wagon to transport luggage’s from the parking lot to the house. The front office has lots of cat decorations and the whole villa has several cats sitting or walking around which adds fun and has amused our kids. ”Even though we were only at the house for one night, it was a very lovely stay. Nikko is gorgeous and the house allowed us to feel truly immersed in the culture. It’s relatively close to historical sites and Yoshiko was so kind to us. We had some delays and were rushed to reach the temple, but she drove us to ensure we had as much time as we could get.
