”Not bad for the price paid. Definitely dated and rooms a bit grungy, but not the worst. In a pinch, and need to stay overnight in a place in the area for a decent weekday price you could do worse. Here - there is a mini fridge, rooms are somewhat clean, AC worked, tv worked - and there was a desk/table in the room in which I stayed...but no chair.
One oddity here is despite the strong anti-smoker sentiment you will usually find in NJ, this place has smoking rooms available.”

”check in process was easy, room appeared clean; however, the bed blanket had a hole in it, and there were candy wrappers still scattered throughout the room. The hotel faintly smelled like smoke, even though it was a non-smoking hotel. If you are particular about pillows, bring your own! Our air-conditioning didn’t work, but after we informed the front desk staff, they made arrangements to have it fixed while we were out for the day since it was a multi night stay. The Wi-Fi wasn’t the greatest...

We loved being across the street from the beach. The only concern was there is limited parking unless you want to pay across the street.
It did not deter us because we walked everywhere and weren't going sightseeing nearby.”

”They lost my reservation information, so I had to both text and email my Expedia booking twice. There was a system error the day before I was supposed to be there . They did not send me the code or check in information until a half hour before I arrived; I had to call several times. When I did get in the room, no one had cleaned it. There were pizza boxes, wet towels, and unmade beds. I called the hotline again and they moved me to the Motel 6 next door. I had to pay out of pocket for that new...
