”Staff was friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows were comfortable. A/C was plenty cold. The bathroom was spotless. The free breakfast had plenty of options, including scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, waffles, toast, muffins, yogurt, cereals, coffee, and a variety of juices. The location was convenient, with a nearby gas station and grocery store, and not too far from downtown. I would stay here again.”

”The bed was supra interesting and by that I mean it was so relaxing! The breakfast was interesting too, they had something different both days I stayed there. When I checked in they were nice and friendly. When I made coffee my coffee maker was broke and they fixed it right away. The room was clean and the pool was so great it was worth it and more. Thank you to the hotel. I am so happy I took an adventure out.”

”Nice place for the price, especially compared to other hotels in Bloomington. Be sure to get a second floor room...they're much nicer. It's not the best hotel in the world, but it does the job for someone who's looking to a place to lay their head rather than a resort.”

”The owner is very kind and accommodating. The rooms are newly renovated and the bed is very comfy. Easily walkable to IU Memorial Stadium and close to downtown. Very nice stay and great experience. ”

”Was in and out of the property upon check-in within about two minutes flat. Communication has been poor about a full refund. Upon walking in, we were greeted with hair all over the toilet and in the bathtub and shower, as well as when pulling down the bed when the owner asked me if the beds were at least made, there was also hair in the bed. I don’t know if it was some kind of prank, but it was horrific. I am still waiting to hear on the refund. ”

”The stay was very relaxing which i needed a quiet escape. The pool was nice. It was a bit cold but we got used to it and enjoyed good bonding time. Eveything was great! Would return again! ”

”The Wampler House is a hidden gem. The environment was warm, cozy and inviting. Our hostess, Sally, was kind and jovial and much of the warmth ensconced in Wampler House, came from her. Absolutely delicious breakfasts were served and were expertly prepared. She also has gluten and dairy-free options for those who have dietary restrictions. Our room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the decor was tasteful and inviting. We will be back! ”
