”Great location if you're into historical sites. We loved the walking trail to the zoo and historical sites that were located directly on the property.”

The linens did not seem properly maintained, the sofa bed sheets had hair on them, and the main bed sheets had visible stains. The room felt unclean overall, which made the stay uncomfortable. We expected a much higher standard of cleanliness from a Marriott hotel.”

The smell was extremely strong and toxic, making it unsafe—especially as we were traveling with three young children. This situation was not disclosed to us at the time of booking or prior to arrival. We immediately asked the front desk if we could be moved to another room, but were told that no alternative rooms were...

”If you're booking a special room through a third-party platform, be sure! Definitely call the hotel staff.Since I was traveling with my baby, I booked a large bed accessible room a month in advance. We got there a bit late that night and the front desk didn't tell us anything and just assigned us a regular room. Because the smoke alarm went off that night, everyone had to go outside and wait. When it was over, I asked about my room type and whether I could get a different room the next day....
