”Wonderful hotel. Be prepared to take a taxi everywhere you want to go. You can use the sister hotel Buoy House next door. the staff is extremely friendly. Our room was spectacular and so was the view. I loved the infinity pool. ”

”First, the pictures of the resort are definitely not accurate. The only thing that is great about this resort is the room we stay in. They didn’t tell us they had an elevator until the last day. The place looks like a motel six and it’s not near anything without taking a taxi. Now the taxis cost an arm and a leg. They charge by the person not group, and you have to wait for it to be called. The restaurant was ok but not the upscale you wanted. The pool was small and the jacuzzi was even smaller....

”What a tropical paradise! We were blown away by Hideaway! If you are looking for a private, family or couple getaway, this is the best place around! The simplicity might be a little less than what some want, but the stay met every one of our needs. The environment was beautiful and the beach was our favorite on the island! Little touches everywhere were not overlooked by my family. ”

”The king size bed in the room was old with the hump in the middle. The room housekeeping was erratic, a couple of days no housekeeping, a few once a day and a few twice a day. Cleaning of the room was superficial, no cleaning of patio.
We did not use the spa.The fittness room was nice but the steam room is at the spa.”

”Great location, nice hotel we had a great room with a view.
The bad part, no help with luggage. A lot of steep stairs and uneven surfaces.
Unless you’re in good physical shape, it’s a struggle. ”

”The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Shuttles were readily available as we had a room that required a good uphill walk — great view!!”

”We were without power (at least 3-5 hrs on 3 days and one day was 18hrs) 4 out of 6 days. One small flashlight, NO generator. Very inconvenient when you can’t make meals (which is why I rented a place with a full kitchen) or do laundry. All I got from management was I’m sorry. The check in process was very odd. Random text messages for 2 different people (not explaining who they were until I asked) asking about our flight info. Jill met us at the property once we arrived and she was AWESOME!! ”
