Beach Condo on Rocks!

Seaview Kahden makuuhuoneen huoneisto sijaitsee Karibianmeren kallioilla St Maryn saarella, vain yhden mailin päässä itään Ocho Riosin keskustasta.

Fantastic place and awesome host!

Vacation was absolutely fantastic right from the beginning. The place is incredibly clean and wonderfully comfortable, and the host is incredibly friendly and helpful. On top of any issue that you could think of, going above and beyond to ensure your comfort is met. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I loved everything about "Ocean Lovers Paradise". I am looking forward to my next stay. The host Sade was thoughtful, hospitable and easy to communicate with. Her property is definately an "Ocean lovers Paradise", serene, tranquil and safe. Exactly as pictured and even better in person. The view and sound of the ocean are unforgettable. A quick taxi ride to town, supermarket, beaches and attractions. Thank you again Sade, I'll be back and wiĺl recommend your place to others.

Outstanding Views...but that's about it

The location was relatively clean and very spacious with amazing views, but if you are over 35 with aches you'll need to find another place to sleep the mattresses are extremely firm and not comfortable at all. There's no beach access and limited access to the pool. Otherwise it was decent.

Nice time with family

Outstanding location on the sea with beautiful sweeping views. Close to downtown Ocho Rios with easy local transportation outside the gate. Quiet, tranquil setting for anyone who wants a peaceful respite. My son occupied one of the hammock almost 100% of the time! :) Outside of some AC issues, the home could use a little TLC around the windows, outside doors and kitchen accessories. Also a house guide booklet on how things work would have been helpful. Overall enjoyed the place. Nice terrace overlooking the sea down the stairs and at night you can hear the waves as you drift off to sleep!

Slice of paradise

I don't know where to start. We absolutely loved the home a way from home. The view was absolutely breathtaking. The villa felt just like home. It is absolutely beautiful,just comfortable, clean and has a modern decor. The location is amazing. MY Fiance & I just loved it. Sade is absolutely amazing just a breath of fresh air. The cleaning lady did an excellent job and was sweet as a peach. We will absolutely stay again and make this our home away from home.

Great View, but buy toilet paper!

We have traveled to Jamaica every year since 1991 and love it. Rented Sade's place for a month. Sade's place is right on the water and has an amazing view. We stayed in the upstairs place, not the downstairs that is advertised due to some construction issues. Good stuff: Very clean, decent furniture and beds, a great deck attached, and one by the water. pool that is kept clean. The location is easy. Local fruit stand, restaurants, and a couple of Jamaican style 711's.The ice cube trays had cracks and she did buy another tray, and sealed jars for food(absolutely necessary in the tropics or you will get bugs!) The reef is really good for Jamaica. Can snorkel right from her lower deck area. Bad stuff: On arrival, the kitchen sink had duct tape instead of a faucet. Yes, we could get water out of it, but gross. Took a week+ to fix. The catches for the doors needed updating or fixing. They don't close and stay shut with the wind. The doors at night have to be shut when the wind is above 12-14mph or it sounds like a giant is trying to break into the house. The water is solar heated which sounds good until you get a couple of cloudy days. The backup heater is not accessible by you, so if Sade was around, she could have turned it on, but unfortunately was not. And toilet paper. It seems she treasures it greatly. She is unwilling to have an extra roll left in the bathrooms, just in case you run out before the cleaning woman comes , so you have to ask for it,even from the cleaning woman. I battled her on this and my husband finally had enough of having to request it and bought it at the store down the street. 50 jdolllars a roll., which is 35 cents a roll. Quite valuable! There was a second bathroom that is part of the space(can't be blocked or locked that she insisted was not part of the contract and that was her excuse for not providing the TP. Became quite funny. Best part? The morning we are leaving, her cousin, Ena, whom was lovely, came to the door with a roll asking if we requested a roll. Cracked me up! I said it was probably the young couple in the studio that requested it! Apparently, she didn't feel a need like all the other places we have stayed, to make sure there was always a spare roll. My husband washed all of the dishes, untensils, silverware, pots. All had dried food, but typical of rentals. The pool courtyard is a hotbox. Tiles get so hot, have to wear shoes.

Quiet, private, and close to Ocho Rios

The villa is beautiful and roomy. The two bedrooms are on opposite ends with a common area with kitchen/bar, comfortable furniture, and an open area. The bedrooms are large, yet the bathrooms are small, no smaller than you will find at any hotel. A veranda runs the length of the unit with access from both bedrooms, overlooking the sea. The overall unit is larger than condos we've rented in Florida. Plus there is the lower sun deck by the sea that gives you great access for some swimming and fantastic snorkeling. You can just relax or take a quick cab ride to town. We recommend Bamboo Beach Club if you want a beach VIP experience, and go when the cruise ships aren't in. We went on a Friday and the food was better and larger servings than when we went on Monday. The Blue Hole is worth the trip. Our cabbie took us to a non-tour group entrance that involved a short hike through the ravine to the Blue Hole. Although the tour groups were there, we still were able to do all we wanted. Recommended restaurants in Ocho Rios are Miss T's (get the bammy, it's the best), Scotchies for jerk (a 20 min. drive), and Toscanini's for a fine Italian dining experience that is just up the road. There is also Delly's, a pizza place that is a short walk away and you must get the jerk chicken pizza. There is also a small bodega right next door for snacks. We had a wobbly start to our visit with a fridge that wouldn't cooperate, but Sade the owner/manager went above and beyond, brought in a small fridge to get us by, and even took some of our food and put it in her personal fridge. Sade lives on the property and is always available. We loved our stay, the food, the people, everything about Jamaica and Ocho Rios.

Beautiful views.

Stunning views from a gorgeous balcony. Perfect location to see a lot of the island. We rented a car and then took taxis into town. Sade was a very warm host and helpful with any questions we had. Only bummer was the pool was only available from 11-4.

Fantastic View of Atlantic in Jamaica!

This very welcoming property is perched on a ledge over the Atlantic with warm breezes floating over the deck and through the bedrooms as the ocean waves crash gently against the rocks below. You'll never want to leave the balcony or the deck oceanside. The hammocks were extremely inviting and comfortable. The pool is fantastic and only footsteps away from the deck. The property is very close to wonderful restaurants and the local grocery store. The gated entrance makes one feel safe and private. Sharday is a fantastic resource and promptly offers any guidance you or your family may need. My family of 5 enjoyed this setting very much!

Quiet, breezy, comfortable property

We loved the host Sade and her beautiful property. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Pool was great, kids had a lot of fun and we relaxed on the hammocks. I highly recommend it.

Clean, comfortable home

This was our first visit to Jamaica, and this property was a great choice. It is close to places that we wanted to visit, and also a wonderful place to stay home and relax. We did our best snorkeling right off the private beach! The property owner, Sade, was the perfect blend of personal and professional attention. She is extremely responsive, and addressed any concerns we had immediately and effectively.

Amazing villa with beautiful veiws!

We stayed here for 19 nights and had the best family holiday we have ever had thanks to the lovely homely villa and we wouldn’t of wished to stay anywhere else for our first holiday in Jamaica.This villa is even better in person as the pictures do not do it justice and the views are breathtaking.Sadie was a wonderful genuine person who would do anything above her duty to ensure you have a great holiday.I would not hesitate to recommend this villa.

Beautiful and comfortable

Great location! Close to everything we wanted to do but not in a busy area. Loved going to sleep at night with the cool breeze and sound of the ocean. Sade was there when we arrived to show us around but then respected our privacy.

AMAZING PROPERTY!!

Relax, Reflect and Unwind is a perfect description of this Villa. The views along with the sound of the Sea are so calming. The pool was a great place to relax and soak up some much needed sunshine. Precious(housekeeper) was so sweet and kept the villa very tidy. We did not use the cooking service as we love to cook. Sade is a great host , I would recommend speaking with her about things to do and see area as she is very knowledgeable about the area. All in all it was a fantastic Jamaica getaway!!

Lovely Location - Lots of choices for relaxation

The home is in a stunning location, on a cliff overlooking the sea. It has 2 decks, one up at the house and another down at the seashore, and a private swimming pool. We found ourselves "rotating" from one great location to another to enjoy our 2 weeks in Jamaica. The bedrooms are nicely separate from the living space. The living space has a very high vaulted ceiling which gave it a feeling of great spaciousness. Each bedroom has its' own bathroom which is also a great benefit. You can catch a taxi into town just outside of the front gate and it is a short 10 minute ride to town. There is a really good grocery store called Progressive Foods in Ocho Rios that I can recommend. There is also June Market that is small but it has all the basics and more which I also recommend and it is only about a 10 minute walk from Afibaview. Sade was very responsive before our stay so it was easy to make all of the arrangements. It was an even bigger pleasure to meet her. She was very helpful with ideas for day trips and to resolve quickly any issues that arose. Her support was great and contributed to our having a great vacation. I also want to call out Norman who drives the van for Afibaview. We had multiple trips to and from the airport as well as several day/evening trips. Norman is very personable and knowledgeable about the area. He always seemed glad to help out. In particular when we arrived and one of our traveler's suitcase did not arrive, he got us to a clothing store just before it closed so she could grab something to wear until the luggage arrived the next day. Overall, we had a very fun and memorable stay at Afibaview!

Great stay

Home with a beautiful pool and the ocean right at your feet. Snorkeling was fun as Sade got us the snorkel gears from a local rental store. Beautiful views from the back deck of the ocean and sundown. Close to stores and restaurants.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Afiba View ist eine hübsche kleine Villa mit einer traumhaften Terrasse direkt am Meer. Der Wohnraum und das Hauptschlafzimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und haben Zugang zur traumhaften Terrasse. Die beiden weiteren Schlafzimmer sind eher zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Täglich, außer Sonntag, wurde gründlich sauber gemacht von einer sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Haushälterin, vielen Dank an Jannie :-) Der gepflegte Pool befindet sich im geschützten Innenhof, ist Abends schön beleuchtet und wird täglich gereinigt. Wir haben ihn viel genutzt zu allen Tages- und Nachzeiten. Ein weiteres Highlight war für uns die kleine private Kieselsteinbucht, zu der man über eine Treppe sowie einer weiteren Sonnenterrasse gelangt und direkten Zugang zum Meer hat. Morgens wurde uns von der Köchin ein leckeres Frühstück nach unseren Wünschen serviert und abends verzauberte uns Angie mit typisch jameikanischen Speisen. Auch die Vermieterin war sehr nett und stand jederzeit hilfsbereit zur Verfügung. Die Lage bei Ochos Rios war für uns optimal, da wir mit dem Mietwagen viele interessante Tagesausflüge machen konnten und auch viele Attraktionen gut zu erreichen waren. Da das Grundstück an einer viel befahrenen Straße liegt, hört man die vorbeifahrenden Autos, was uns allerdings nicht sehr störte. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Great Stay @ Afiba View

The property is in a nice neighborhood near Ocho Rios and it was perfect for my stay. I would highly recommend it for anyone thinking of climbing waterfalls, relaxing at beautiful beaches, bamboo rafting, or just plain kicking back in the most beautiful country in the world. It is central to most excursions on the east side of the island, and its private cove was often a place of tranquility for me. The cook, Angela, and the housekeeper, Yaneek, were most helpful, knowledgeable and kind and made my wife and two girls feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful breathtaking oceanview home

I found Afib to be very relaxing, with the inviting sound of the ocean, and a beautiful balcony overlooking the clear water. The garden leading to the deck way well kept, and is great for taking pictures. I love the decks leading to the ocean, this was where I took most of my pictures. The bedrooms were inviting, I particularly love the décor in the living room, as well as the bar. One of my most memorable and unforgettable picture was Angela, patiently waiting for us under the palm tree when we lost our way. She is hospitable and so accommodating, and she made our stay very comfortable. For constructive criticism, I find that the bathrooms could stand some upgrade and expansion particularly the shower. The food presentation was good, however, the taste was not what I expected.

Birthday Trip To Jamaica simply amazing

Where do I begin... Sade was simply amazing n absolutely comforting and made sure that my first trip to Jamaica would be a memorable one ! The villa was as mentioned in the description with a few needed updates but very comfortable. The Chef n personal tour guide Angela took my crew out and introduced us to a few locals who became family . She made sure that we had whatever our hearts desired n the food was absolutely amazing n that coffee....yummm ! Let's just say ..Jamaica doesn't owe me a ting We will definitely return in July !

Wow!!

I can't describe how everyone in our party felt when we first walked in to Afibaview. I just know that none of us wanted to leave. The view, the yard, the oceanside deck, the house - all beautiful! The staff was beyond wonderful! The location was better than expected and a short cab ride into town. We made memories at Afibaview to last a lifetime but hopefully they won't have to - we would stay here again and again.

I would really recommend this villa to everyone. The experience was wonderful. Sade the property manager is really sweet and helpful. THE COOK IS AMAZING. I wish I could have taken her home. Please let her make you authentic Jamaican cuisine you will not regret it. The housekeeper is sweet as pie. I love this place can't wait to go back. And the view WOW. You will not ve disappointed
