”Jabberwock Inn was the perfect place to stay in Monterey. It was close to the harbor and nice shops and restaurants. The most amazing thing about the Inn was definitely the staff. Dorothy was so friendly and welcoming, I've probably never met someone so helpful! They have menus of close-by restaurants there and Dorothy made us a reservation from a really good restaurant. ”This is a nice hotel with great views (ocean view side). I took off 1 star due mainly to the breakfast being a little disappointing. The pastries were small and seemed like the plastic wrapped kind you might get at a convenience store, and overall the options were pretty limited.”

”The staff were excellent. The first room we were given was near some construction going on and we were concerned it might be noisy. We were promptly moved to a different room that turned out to be perfect. Lovely bay views, quiet and clean. The breakfast delivered to the room each day was delicious. We will be back!”

”My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay here. The hotel is in a perfect location in the middle of cannery row with just a short walk to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and several outstanding restaurants. The deck overlooking the bay with comfortable seating and fire pits was a favorite spot of ours. We saw sea otters and sea lions in the bay and found it difficult to leave to continue our trip. We are already planning to come back next June! Book it you will love the hotel!”

”Great location walking distance to old fisherman’s wharf, cannery row and aquarium. There is the green trolley if you prefer not to walk 15-30 minutes to these sights. Room was spacious and clean. Has most of the amenities but no microwave. Charming courtyard and cozy breakfast area. Friendly staff. Onsite Parking was convenient.”

”Good place to spend a night. Bed was nice and shower clean. At night we noticed that the door wouldn't lock and had to change room. Otherwise everything went well.”

”Room was very basic but had everything we needed, including a fan. There was no ac in our room, but with the window open and the fan on, it was quite comfortable. It was about a 10 min walk to Fishermans wharf where we were able to catch the free trolley into cannery and the aquarium. After a long day, the hot tub was very relaxing. Overall, would stay here again if I find myself back in Monterey.”

”It’s rated as a 2 star hotel but I was surprised how great it actually was. It’s been remodeled and updated rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is perfect.”
