”We wanted a peaceful and comfortable place and we found that at Deer Haven. Asilomar Beach was a close walk or drive and park. Our room was clean, bed was very comfortable, hear the ocean at night with window open and the fireplace was wonderful as the mornings had just enough chill to use and enjoy with our coffee. Also met other nice travelers outside in the common area.”

”We literally came to feel safe and we totally did. Great job with the firepit area too. Also, super kind staff. When we needed extra towels, the cleaning lady was so kind to give us some and the smile went a long way.”

”This is our second stay since 2019 and glad to see the property has been well maintained. The cottages are spacious, clean and our pup loves the enclosed landscaped yard. ”

”We stayed there two nights during our roadtrip. The hotel was quite nice. We had to be in contact to the hotel beforehand several times, since the reception closes already at 5pm. The rooms were spacious but a bit worn out, our friends bathroom door was stucked, but luckily the staff was still there when it happened. There was an odd moldy odour in the room. Otherwise the location was good, near the ocean and Monterey and the center of Pacific Grove can be easily reached by bus or by car. ”

”Nice check in staff. Cleaning staff was amazing and friendly. Rooms seemed to be a little worn, beds kinda stiff. Had a lower room and upstairs neighbors took to activities all throughout the night keeping everyone awake. To be childless for a trip must be nice. Lucy’s lighthouse was amazing for dinner and a beer, walk to the cemetery and got to clean some headstones as the sun went down. Great place overall ”
