”We stayed here two nights in July and enjoyed our stay. First of all, the customer service is superb! The lady in the reception was super friendly and had great knowledge of the trips and things to do in the area. She also arranged us very good transportation to the Nicaraguan border with few phone calls whereas the guy in the tourist information in the centre of Santa Elena clearly wasn't aware of the proper options. ”This property felt like staying at a good friend’s house. The manager, Tony, his staff, made us feel like family and went out of their way to help welcome us to Monteverde by not only recommending activities, but arranging them for us and making sure the tour companies actually took care of us. The breakfast every morning was made with care and the service was truly hospitable. The smallest minor issue is that there is no Air Conditioning in the room, which is expected in an eco-friendly lodge,...

”This lodge isn’t for everyone, but for those whom it is well suited to it offers a wonderfully immersive rainforest experience. Our room was spacious and fairly comfortable and we felt very much like we were alone in the jungle while hotel and other amenities were very readily accessible. My only caution is that those with mobility issues could find accessing some of the rooms very challenging due to steep walkways that must be climbed to reach some cabins. ”I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was spaceous and bed very comfy. There is free tea and popcorn and the terrace is a nice bonus. Breakfast was also good. Staff is very friendly and eager to help the guests. The B&B is about 5 min walk away from shops and restaurants. Altough it's Down/uphill. There is a corner shop and a soda few steps away, but I didn't try them. 4 star hotel for me. ”
