”We stayed here two nights in July and enjoyed our stay. First of all, the customer service is superb! The lady in the reception was super friendly and had great knowledge of the trips and things to do in the area. She also arranged us very good transportation to the Nicaraguan border with few phone calls whereas the guy in the tourist information in the centre of Santa Elena clearly wasn't aware of the proper options. Cala Lodge is a bit out of the centre of Santa Elena, however, there are nice...

”beautifully situated in Santa Elena. Entrance is in a busy area but the property is tucked into a dreamy rainforest with trails and beautiful outdoor features. Simple, elegant, meticulously maintained. Everyone was so gracious and welcoming! We LOVED our stay!”

”I truly enjoyed my stay. The room was spaceous and bed very comfy. There is free tea and popcorn and the terrace is a nice bonus. Breakfast was also good. Staff is very friendly and eager to help the guests. The B&B is about 5 min walk away from shops and restaurants. Altough it's Down/uphill. There is a corner shop and a soda few steps away, but I didn't try them. 4 star hotel for me. ”

”Loved our stay with our family. Perfect little getaway fpr us with 2 kids inder 2 years old. We were able to enjoy the jaccuzi after the kids went to bed and had tge most oeaceful time! During the day there are trails and a playground. The staff was wonderful and and friendly and we did have daily housekeeping althpught they do not do dishes, no problema for our family but something to note if you plan on cooking. ”

”We loved our stay at Hotel Poco a Poco! The location is perfect—close to town but still peaceful—and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. Our room was clean and cozy, and the restaurant served excellent meals. The only downside was that the pool and jacuzzi were under renovation during our visit, but everything else more than made up for it. Highly recommended for a Monteverde stay!”

”We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Cipreses! The staff were so warm and friendly, and really made us feel at home. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was delicious and filling. They were also very accommodating with our plans, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights was the night animal tour with Ellie. It was fantastic! We saw so many animals and the kids loved it. Highly recommend this hotel for a cozy and welcoming stay in Monteverde. ”
