”Host was the best, really nice and helpful! She helped us to book tours we wanted, shuttle to next location and she even did us sandwiches for the next morning we had to leave before breakfast. Be prepared with warmer clothes as it is really windy and chilly there! Room is pretty small but clean and otherwise ok. We would recommend this hotel!”

”We stayed 4 nights in Fonda Vela. Pros: staff, easy to organize activities via reception, restaurant, hotel surroundings and trail. Also close to reserve (15 min walk). Cons: the rooms were a bit outdated, as if they haven't touched them in 20 years or so? No aircon either, 1st night was very cold in the room. The pool area - the bar was never open, the water was cold and the games (pooltable, fussball etc.) were quite dirty. Also lots of birds nesting in the pool area roof... But hey, most...

”Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again ”

”Stayed three nights there. The price-quality ratio was really good. The breakfast was sufficient enough and made according to my timetable since my visit took place outside the high season. But most of all I want to thank the manager. He assisted me in reserving the zip-lines and the jungle visit. He also provided a laundry service at a very short notice. ”The staff took very good care of us. My husband booked a birding tour through the Eco Lodge and the guide did an excellent job. Our room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. The lodge is off the main roads so is more quiet. We would stay again.”
