The views are definitely one of the highlights of staying here. The lodge has more of a rustic, old school cabin feel rather than a modern hotel experience. They use traditional keys instead of key cards, there is no 24 hour on site staff, and there is no room service. If you are expecting full hotel amenities...

”The walls are paper-thin. The beds are sold as memory foam mattress, they are not. I sleep on memory foam. It gives just a bit when pressed. These beds are the cheapest hardest mattress from whatever local discount mattress shop. There was an extremely limited breakfast available. One night our neighbor had a full mental break down and ems had to sit outside our room for hours. Also we arrived after 10 pm. We were left to wait in the cold for a staff member. They provide a phone to call said...

”Staff are very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean. I could store my luggage before my check-in. The location is close to Loveland Ski Area (no any public transportation to there and back to hotel).”

”Probably my favorite small motel that I have ever stayed in! The host was so nice and willing to do almost anything to make the stay comfortable. The room was small but very comfortable. Very clean and quiet. The proximity to ski resort was a plus. No negatives at all. Doesn't have all the extras of a big hotel but it is perfect for a ski stay or I'm sure a summer trip as well.”

”We really enjoyed our stay at The Block and also this litter city, Silverthorne. We stayed 2 nights in the Container Room which sleeps 3. We are a family of 3 and so my daughter took the futon and we took the queen bed. It was comfy and sufficient space for our family. Everything was very clean and well organized. The common/community areas are very user friendly and welcoming. The view from our room was also gorgeous! We got a great view of Blue River. The icing on top is it snowed the last...

”Were just spending a night as we arrived a day early before ski plans in Breckenridge. Arrive right when they we having happy hour with a free glass of wine and a nice assortment of snacks (meat, cheese, nuts, homemade pickles, etc.). room was clean and just what we needed, then had a delicious breakfast in the morning. Perfect location on Main St. to hit shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and helpful.”
