”The rooms are clean, but when I walked in the room had a funky smell. Thankfully the AC worked and circulated most of it out. The sink also had sewer gas smell coming out of it, which never went away. Overall not a good place to rest your head be gone.”

”I had a terrible stay. The air conditioner was extremely noisy and the bed and pillow was so uncomfortable that I barely slept. Also when I came down for coffee at 8:50am, the coffee container was empty and never refilled after I even told the front desk.”

”Warning!! The pet policy is significantly different- more expensive- than what is stated on Expedia's website. It’s NOT $10. It is $50 non refundable pet fee plus $10 per night. Total per fee for one night $60. I had already paid for my room so I would have lost my room payment if I refused. They refused to let me only pay the $10 that is stated as the fee in Expedia. It is a total bait and switch situation. Kitchen had no pots, pans or utensils. Room smelled like cigarettes.”

”This was a terrible experience from the moment I walked in. As I was trying to check in another guest was the the reception desk requesting a new room because her room smelled like "Death". The hotel clerk said I was registered for 2 rooms, which I was not. She then said "well I will charge you for both rooms then you can dispute with your credit cad company" I asked 4 times to speak with the manager. He never came to speak with me. As far as the room goes: outdated, mold in shower,...

”Food was very expensive”

”This place is a gem– – a beautifully preserved building that dates back to the colonial era which nonetheless provides all modern conveniences. It’s only a stone’s throw from the center of town on a lovely leafy street. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We’re looking forward to our next visit. If you require an elevator, be warned – – this hotel does not have one. We did not mind bringing our bags up to our third-floor room, but that might be a problem for others.”

”The bar and dinner area had no staff - they kept saying she was late but by 7:30 no one had come in. The staff at check in, however, was kind enough to get drinks for a few of us. Seems like they should have a better back up plan.”

”Older motel kept up reasonably well. My room was small and very basic... no coffee maker, no fridge, etc. Room was clean TV difficult to figure out. I was on 2nd level with no elevator. Overall ok for price.”

”The floor was covered in some sticky substance that we removed ourselves with paper towels and water. The sheets and towels were never changed. The freezer has a defrost cycle that drips water to the contents of the refrigerator.”

”Stay was comfortable, only complaint is that housekeeping wouldn’t come to clean until later in day. One day I we were out from 9am-4:30pm and housekeeping had just gotten to the room. Another day was a similar experience where we were gone from 10am-2pm and no housekeeping. Also had to request bedding change”
