This Country Cottage is a vacation rental located in the heart of authentic Tuscany, in an unspoiled area boasting a one-of-a-kind biodiversity, just a 5-minute drive from the famous Abbey of San Galgano and the Hermitage of Montesiepi, where the prestigious “Sword in the Stone” is housed. <br>The Country Cottage consists of: a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, a bedroom with a French bed, a bedroom with two single beds, and two bathrooms with showers and bidets. <br>The host provides guests with a complete set of linens (bed and bath) free of charge. <br>The kitchen is fully equipped with: an induction cooktop, electric oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, Italian and American-style coffee makers, cutlery, plates, glasses, trays, pots, pans, etc.<br>The Country Cottage is for the exclusive use of guests, offering maximum privacy. <br>It is the perfect and ideal location for a family with children or for a group of friends on vacation. It can accommodate up to six people.<br>Pets (dogs, cats, etc.) are welcome for a small additional fee. <br>The Country Cottage offers its guests a beautiful private pool for their exclusive use. <br>The cottage is surrounded by a wonderful lawn, which also features typical Tuscan olive trees. <br>At the edge of the lawn lies the woods, with chestnut trees and native Mediterranean flora. <br>The entire property is secure and fully fenced, ensuring that our guests enjoy a peaceful and carefree stay, far from the stress of modern life.<br>The Country Cottage is located just 1 km from the village of Monticiano, yet in a secluded, private, and exclusive area where guests’ privacy is fully protected. <br>The area surrounding the village of Monticiano is surrounded by centuries-old chestnut forests, as well as rivers and streams with pristine, fresh, and crystal-clear water. <br>In the fall, Monticiano becomes a destination for mushroom and chestnut hunters.<br>In the center of the village stands the beautiful medieval complex of the former Convent of St. Augustine, which houses the Shrine of Blessed Antonio Patrizi, where the incorrupt body of the Blessed Saint has been preserved intact for eight centuries. <br>Adjacent to the Shrine is the Museum of Sacred Art, named after the Blessed Saint, where visitors can also admire a work by the renowned Sienese artist Lorenzetti. <br>There is also a Museum of Biodiversity. <br>Just a few minutes’ drive away are the historic Petriolo Thermal Baths. <br>The city of Siena is about a 30-minute drive away, and the city of Florence is about 80 minutes away. <br>The beautiful Maremma Coast, featuring Castiglione della Pescaia, Grosseto, Follonica, the Argentario, and more, is just a 40-minute drive away. <br>Famous Tuscan tourist destinations, such as San Gimignano, Volterra, Colle di Val d’Elsa, Val d’Orcia, Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Chianti, etc., are about a 40- to 60-minute drive away. <br>The nearest airports are Florence (about an 80-minute drive) and Pisa (about a 110-minute drive).
