”We booked the Ensana Buxton Crescent Hotel as a Christmas present through Hotels.com and got some good cashback and discounts, which made the stay feel excellent value for money. We chose the upgraded Crescent Room and absolutely loved it. The bathroom was a real highlight—spacious, with a big shower, a lovely bath, and décor that really suited our taste. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed the view over the spa. The TV could have been better, as a few channels didn’t work, but it...

”OK stay. Rooms are a bit dated. Don’t know about suites etc. but if you are searching something more luxurious, this might not to be your selection. Location is excellent. For Crucible visitors this might be the place to stay. It was a pity that ”spa” was only a half of a spa, because only swimming pool was in use. Got the information about that when there was no option to cancel the reservation. The hotel did not compencate for this in any way.”

”The room was pristine, the staff were professional and friendly. The pool was quiet and the areas clean. The food was exceptional, well presented and fresh. Unfortunately i had a fall on our last night outside the theatre, the hotel staff provided ice, towels and couldn't have been more kind and caring for which i am so grateful. The whole stay was very good value. ”
