”Beautiful historic hotel. Public areas are lovely. The room was a bit dated though, bashed and battered table tops and curtains falling down. The bathroom was also drab with little space to hang or put toiletries. No plugs by the bed so you have to charge your phone at the other side of the room, no bedside lamps. These small things mean I can’t give a five. Location is great, easy to walk into the centre and of course right on the sea front. Worth visiting for the history of the building I...
