”This a fantastic 13th century former castle near the airport (5 mins) reasonably priced. The staff are fantastic and one has just said taxi's are too expensive and is going to take us to the airport. That is real excellent service”

”Beautiful, seculded hilltop estate with great view and beautiful grounds. Nice pool. Hosts were warm and inviting and dinner of regional cuisine was good. Rooms are large and relatively sparse with minimal amenities, and beware there is no A/C. Breakfast was simple. They produce award winning olive oil available for purchase.”

”The location is stunning – absolutely worth the view. The road to get here, however, is in very poor condition. The pool area is beautiful, and the gym exceeded expectations with amazing views and a much higher standard than the photos suggested. Wi-Fi in the room worked poorly, and the pool bar’s lunch/after 2 pm food offering was frankly a joke – where’s the pride in Italian cuisine when you serve nothing remotely close to the real thing?
