2 BR 1.5 BA Cabin on Big Creek, private and serene but close to amenities

Creekside is a 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bath rustic cabin with upscale amenities. Perfect for 2 or 4 people. The HUGE porch overlooking the creek is amazing! There is wicker furniture and ceiling fans for your comfort. If you choose to go to the creek youll be going down 52 stairs to get to the creek and firepit area. In the spring the water is rushing and and the summer its a wide cool meandering waterway. Sit on a rock and dip your toes into the cool water. Adirondack chairs provided. Inside the cabin is an open floor plan. The full kitchen has an island counter for enjoying conversation. The living room has a wood fireplace and a comfortable leather furniture seating area. Internet TV and WIFI and even a Bluetooth speaker for listening to your own music. Theres a first floor bath which has a shower with granite sink and washer dryer. The Master bedroom is large with a king bed, dresser and tv. The mattress is Casper. For the second level follow the spiral stairs to a large loft area with a queen bed and half bath which has a huge window overlooking the creek. This place is just amazing! Just 1/4 mile away you can walk to Amis Mill Restaurant and enjoy a waterfall view! Shopping is just 2 miles away and downtown Rogersville is up and coming with new bistro restaurants and a great Coffee shop! You won't want to leave this place. Its addicting! Get ready to relax and watch the evening fireflies with the lanterns flickering and the sound of the creek below.

It was a beautiful place. It was nice and clean. Kimberly was easy to communicate with and gave tips along the way. My favorite part was sitting on the deck to hear the birds! We would love to come back.

Highly disappointed.Its not advertised appropriately,it was very noisy w/the road immediately outside the window&another road directly across the extremely small stream;fire ring by stream was full of trash,the stream edge had not been cleaned, theres nothing to allow guests to enjoy putting their toes in the stream.Cute house but the upstairs floors have no subfloor to support the tongue&groove planks&were holes thru floor,when you walk across the floor u fear it will give way,very small spiral stairway isnt properly adhered to the wall at the top of the stairway,no window coverings upstairs for privacy from the road across the stream,main level of the house we wonder y doesnt the property manager have a foldable screen in front of the fireplace?,house was filthy with spider webs,dusty everywhere,dryer vent clogged,furnace filter clogged,dirty under beds&dressers&behind furniture,dirty towels underbed,no step stool to reach things,owner YELLS in CAPS when asked a questions.not welcoming

This us what you expect
Everything was easy and planned out no issues finding the place or getting in. Everything was clean the refrigerator worked. I would say just be careful when you’re in the tub and you take a shower it’s very precarious and if you’re over 6 foot tall, watch your head near the spiral staircase.😂 other than that everything was perfect. The 52 steps down to the creek was not bad, it’s the 52 on the way back up and that give you the challenge. 😉 Everything was clean and neat. Cleaning staff may want to hit the ceiling fans. You won’t be disappointed. The hostess was very polite and very much in tune with her place. Unlike other places I have stayed they care.

The cabin was tastefully decorated in a woodland theme but has all modern conveniences. The porch overlooks a fairly wide creek and had plenty of seating. The nearby Amis Mill Eatery had excellent food. The host was very communicative via vrbo. The road runs right beside the cabin and another across the creek but the occasional vehicle didn’t bother us. The only caveat would be the nearby intersection to get to town and the eatery has limited sight distance and is not a 4 way stop. Realistically the host has no control over this but that was the main issue we had. Bottom line: my wife says we're going to save our pennies and we will be back.

Peace and Tranquility
We loved the solitude. Having no neighbors. The sight, the nature, all the wild animals we seen, it was all fabulous!!!! We recommend staying here to EVERYONE!!!!! The host kept in contact with us to make sure all our needs were met and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. The cabin at the creek was absolutley amazing. It was exactly what was needed. Will definitley stay again. And would highly recommend. Also if staying here the Amis Mill restaraunt is a must. Kathryn was very kind and thought of everything to make your stay perfect. Not to mention the tea selction she had there was great. Thanks for the memory.

Comfortable and Very Convenient
Creekside is an ideal place to stay when visiting the Rogersville area. The cabin is very comfortable and has a well-equipped and stocked kitchen and baths. One of the most inviting features is the front porch overlooking the creek. It's perfect for a relaxing sit with coffee or a glass of wine.
