”This is truly a tiny cabin, and we loved it! We got in later than expected, which means that we didnt get to enjoy the hot tub or the peaceful creek right out the door but it was perfect and i would love to return! I do recommend a vehicle with 4 wheel or awd, as there is unpaved access to the property, with some steep hills. I absolutely loved this stay, and highly recommend this to anyone who is in the area Communication with the host was not only easy, but they accommodated my change of plans...

”The Rustic Mountain Retreat is a small, cute cabin with an amazing view off the deck. My husband and I went for our 10 year wedding anniversary and it was perfect for the two of us. The hot tub isn’t super private as there is the Wilderness cabin drive rite by the fire pit for this cabin, but it still feels private enough. ”Very cute cabin. Very clean and stocked well. Hot tub was great. Outside lights were perfect and didn’t take away from seeing the stars. Very nice neighbors around the cabin too. Not far from Smoky Mountain National Park and Bush’s factory! We saw lots of deer, turkey, elk and bear on this trip! Beautiful area. Would definitely recommend this property. ”

”This truly is a peaceful cabin. Such a great location and soooo beautiful. Every morning the lake is like glass, the sun glitters in the dew covered grass and it feels like heaven. ”We had a great stay at this Smoky Mountain cabin. The cabin was much more spacious than we expected and had all the necessities for us to enjoy our stay. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Hot tub was great after a day of hiking/rafting. ”My wife and 4 young children had a great getaway on Douglas Lake. This home provided a comfortable space in a beautiful setting that was just what we needed. The little beach associated with the neighborhood was a hit! We spent hours swimming in the lake and fishing.
